Where are my photos?
A photo taken with your iPhone or iPad goes straight into your
Camera Roll. You can leave your photos there, or set up albums to make it easier to find what you want.

How do I set up an album?
Tap the Photos icon to get the Camera Roll.Tap the word Albums top left, and you’ll get a screen entitled Albums.
Top left, tap the plus sign

, and inthe box marked New Album, type the name you want it to have . Tap Save .

Adding a photo to an album?
Tap the Photos Icon to get the Camera Roll. Scroll to find the photo(s) you want. Tap Edit for the next screen.
Tap a photo to select it: a white tick in a red circle appears . You can select more than one photo. Tap Add To .

. On the next screen, tapthe name of the album you want and the photo at the top will fall into your chosen album.

How do I enable Photostream?
Tap the Settings icon .
Scroll to the iCloud box and tap . Scroll to Photostream and tap. If it does not say On, tap the arrow to the right .
On the next screen, slide the button to On . If you wish, you can also enable the Shared Photo Streams by also sliding to On.

What sort of kit do I need?

If you have Photostream enabled on both your iPhone and computer, your
iPhone photos will be streamed into either iPhoto or Aperture if you have the correct version.
You can also use the Apple USB
connector: plug one end into your iPhone and the other into the USB port in your computer. Open Preview (Applications folder). Click on Import from (X’s) iPhone .
Click on the photos you want to import (a white tick in green circle will
appear) or select Import All (bottom right) .

How do I get my iPhone photos
onto my computer?

If you have Photostream, they will sync automatically over wi-fi. If you don’t, link the iPad and iPhone with the Apple camera connector and the Apple USB cable . To link your camera and the iPad, use the Apple camera connector and your camera cable. Photos from the iPhone or camera will appear on the iPad screen. You can Import them or Delete them . Select/deselect photos by tapping. If there are duplicates, this box appears . Tap the option you want. You can also choose in the next screen whether to delete or keep the photos on your iPhone or camera.

Tap the Photos icon to get the
Camera Roll, then tap the photo you want. Tap the small curved Share arrow which is bottom left on the iPhone and top right on the iPad. Tap Mail .

Dropbox is your own storage-in-the-cloud box where you can keep any types of files (photos, Word documents,
presentations, videos etc). You can send files there from any devices you have, and download them onto any other of your devices.
You can, for instance, upload photos to it while you’re travelling (when you have a wi-fi connection) and should anything happen to your camera, they’ll be there waiting for you to access from your computer back home. You’ll need to install Dropbox on all your devices (very easy). The first (currently) 2G are free, and the apps for it are free too.
