Improve your operations further using Dispatch Optimization with COMMANDoptimize. Integrating seamlessly with COMMANDconcrete, COMMANDoptimize allows you to achieve the optimal balance between service and efficiency by evaluating and updating your dispatch plan in real time and updating your resource allocations on a minute-by-minute basis.

COMMANDcredit & COMMANDlien

“COMMANDcredit gives us instant access to customer payment history and lets our dispatchers know immediately when an account has been placed on Credit Hold. It even warns us when a customer is about to exceed their credit limit. This gives us the freedom to suspend the order or override it and let it be sent to our customer.”

Christi Hodge Evans Concrete, LLC

COMMANDcredit automatically checks the

credit limit of a customer in real-time once

an order is created or edited.

When a customer’s credit limit is exceeded by an order during the order entry process, a warning window with detailed credit information is displayed. The credit limit is also checked again during ticketing for the first ticket of the day on any given order. If desired, password authorization can allow the dispatcher to proceed with the shipment of an order that has exceeded a customer's credit limit. A

Credit Limit Report is made available with AR

balance, total exposure, shipped orders not invoiced, and booked orders not shipped.

Prerequisites

“COMMANDlien is a must-have for any concrete company. Before we had this software, we almost needed to hire another person just to keep up with lien dates.”

Christi Hodge Evans Concrete, LLC

COMMANDlien provides a powerful,

integrated management tool to collect lien

information, produce lien documents, and

monitor lien status. The application tracks

the lien process from project quotation

or order entry through to project/order

completion.

COMMANDlien provides configurable pre-lien and lien rules as well as tools for user-defined formats for

Notices and Releases. There are no state specific

constraints because the state independent rules are also user configurable. Status based exception model-ing allows the system to track lien locations from cre-ation status to completion status and beyond with New Activity detection. User-defined queries ease the lien

location management process. You can design your own queries which capture data sets for online list management. COMMANDlien also offers Certified Mail Features, a Query Manager, Lien Legacy Invoice Manager, Purging Lien Locations Utility, Lien Location Substitution Utility, and a wide variety of standard lien reports.

COMMANDlien:

w Recommended for use in conjunction with Order Entry and Ticketing (CC-OE) or Pricing

COMMANDinventory

Prerequisites

The COMMANDinventory module is an

inventory control system that provides

accurate and up-to-date records for

inventory transactions and accurate

inventory quantities at the time of order

entry.

COMMANDinventory features material receipt entry, usage entry, adjustments, material transfers, transaction registers, purchase order

tracking, and inventory reporting. General Ledger entries can be tracked, if desired.

COMMANDinventory tracks only those items you desire to be under inventory control including those that are used as constituents for another item or sold outright. The system automatically creates usage transactions through the ticketing function in Order Entry

and Ticketing and allows for manual entry of basic inventory transactions including receipts, usages, transfers, conversions, and adjustments.

An Inquiry Screen quickly identifies inventory quantities at various locations. Forecasted needs and historical material usages can be reviewed. Plants can be assigned to an inventory location, allowing multiple plants to utilize a single inventory location. A Material Transfer feature easily moves inventory items from one location to another with the appropriate transactions being created automatically.

w Ensures accurate inventory information is available for dispatch

w Automatically creates receipts and usages w Purchase order tracking

w Historical and forecast reporting w Flexibility in costing methods

w Choose the level of detailed information you want to maintain

“The inventory module helps me because I can check to see if a plant has received the inventory before I okay a bill for payment, as opposed to calling the manager if I don't have a paper receipt in hand.”

Gina Willis

Evans Concrete, LLC

COMMANDinventory allows for cost adjustments, the tracking of lot and serial numbers, rapid entry of Raw Material

Receipts and Purchase Order Receipts, and easy entry of beginning inventory quantity balances and costs. Basic purchase order tracking including purchase order entry, reporting, and updating of purchase order quantities after receiving are also allowed.

Built-in reports track inventory transactions and balances including quantities and costs of your inventoried items. General Ledger capabilities include the creation of General Ledger (G/L) entries for inventory transactions if desired, a detail and summary G/L Distribution report, and interfacing of G/L entries to external financial systems.

Benefits of COMMANDinventory

w Recommended for use with Order Entry and Ticketing (CC-OE).

w Can be used as a stand-alone application, if desired.

COMMANDconcrete

Feature Highlights

Dispatching in any industry is a complex task. In the construction materials world dispatching comes with an entirely unique set of criteria and scenarios that make real-time decision making and balancing of resources especially difficult. COMMANDconcrete eases these complex tasks with an industry-specific dispatching feature set based on over 30 years of industry expertise.

O r d e r E n t r yallows information to be accessed and entered with ease and accuracy:

w Order Entry Lookup Screens w COD and Bid Price Calculators w Point of Sale Features

w Order Tree allowing search, sort, and display of all orders

Order Entry & Ticketing is further enhanced by a

M a p p i n g S y s t e m I n t e r f a c e where a simple click on a map icon displays the delivery site's geographical location. The job’s latitude, longitude, travel times to/from the job site and driving distance can be returned to the order. Delivery instructions can be printed off easily to accompany the ticket. The location of plants, orders, and projects can be viewed,

routed, and analyzed based upon shipping address and/or GPS coordinates.

Take full advantage of the mapping system interface by configuring your fleet for Autostatusing with GPS. The Autostatus feature can automatically trigger and transmit ready-mixed delivery statuses from your truck's signaling system back to COMMANDconcrete, allowing that information to update on the truck tracking screen. From the standard set of 7 delivery statuses, 4, 6, or all statuses may be automatically generated, depending on the features of your fleet signaling system. This feature not only enhances the tracking of trucks while

providing real-time status updates, but ensures accurate times for reporting and analysis.

These are just a few examples of the time-saving features for order entry.

COMMANDinvoicing | COMMANDreceivables

COMMANDreceivables

The COMMANDreceivables software package

imports sales and invoicing information directly

from COMMANDinvoicing, allowing you to quickly

and easily update your accounts receivable

infor-mation.

Up-to-date collections and credit reports are available to help you manage your customer's account balances and credit ratings. With the on-screen inquiry feature you can quickly answer customer ques-tions regarding their account from their overall balance down to the order and ticket level on an invoice. Transaction filters allow you to retrieve invoices by invoice date, project, ticket number, delivery address, or other options. The sys-tem provides flexibility in cash dis-bursement during payment entry, allowing you to allocate the cash received to tax, discounts, or adjust-ments.

COMMANDconcrete

The power and flexibility of HTML printing. COMMANDseries includes a built-in HTML editor that makes it easy to layout and design your own formats for printing Orders, Tickets, Invoices, and Statements. Use standard HTML tags to incorporate logos or other graphics, borders, font colors, sizes, and styles into your own customized documents. HTML printing eliminates the expense of stockpiling pre-printed forms for daily ticket printing or weekly/monthly invoicing and statement runs.

You will be amazed at how C O M M A N D t r a c kallows you to quickly view, locate, and organize orders and trucks to make better decisions and provide better service to your customers. Your dispatch team can achieve a new level of efficiency, ease of operation, and ability to analyze and plan for changing job conditions. Likewise, managers and system administrators will be impressed with the system control, memory management, and playback features.

COMMANDpump eliminates the manual processes associated with managing your pump assets. This module allows you to schedule, track, bill for, and report on the use of your concrete pumps. Orders can be associated with both a concrete/truck schedule and a pump/truck schedule which are directly linked to one another.

COMMANDinvoicing

“The Invoicing Module is being used at three locations and is very user-friendly for editing orders and printing invoices.”

Marie Lyons

Dufferin Construction

With COMMANDinvoicing all information

created by COMMANDconcrete or your

Command Alkon batching system can

be quickly edited and invoiced.

Invoice format and content are user-defined so that you can bill your customers anyway they would like to be billed. Flexible invoicing dates and terms allow you to customize the timing of your invoices with each customer's payment process. HTML printing features allow you to design and print your own invoice formats.

Once printed, invoice informa-tion is immediately available in your COMMANDreceivables module or can be transferred to another accounting system for online updating of accounts receivable information. Daily invoice reports can be configured and saved to your specified parameters. This allows you to input only dates each time you run your daily reports instead of having to enter the same report parameters day after day. Exception reporting, order suspension, and a simple copy functionality for creation of Credit and Debit memos is also available. Yearly price changes are handled easily.

These are just a few of the many time-saving features that COMMANDinvoicing offers.

w Increases invoice accuracy and timeliness w Invoice information is automatically available to

COMMANDconcrete Order Entry and Ticketing (CC-OE) The Order Entry and Ticketing module is the foundation of the

COMMANDconcrete system. In this module, orders are taken and tickets are generated while data is captured for invoicing and reporting.

COMMANDconcrete Map Order Entry (CC-MO) The Map Order Entry module provides the interface between the order entry system and mapping software. With this module you can find street addresses and precisely locate the delivery destination. Simply clicking on a map icon provides the delivery site's geographical location viewed on a map.

COMMANDconcrete Truck Tracking and COMMANDtrack (CC-TT)The Truck Tracking module monitors the fleet throughout every phase of the workday to help maximize fleet utilization. This software lets the dispatcher react to ever-changing job conditions and ensure that planned service levels are carried out.

COMMANDconcrete Map Truck Tracking (CC-MT) The Map Truck Tracking module is the interface between the truck tracking system and the mapping software. Using GPS technology, the current location of a single truck or of all trucks on a particular job or project can be viewed on a map.

COMMANDconcrete Dynamic Scheduling and COMMANDtrack (CC-DS) The Dynamic Scheduling module adjusts schedules as orders are taken and loads are shipped, graphically dis-playing your truck, driver, plant, and inventory requirements for current and future days' business. The modeling feature allows the order taker to per-form a "what if?" analysis to determine where an order best fits into the

schedule.

COMMANDconcrete Order Monitoring (CC-OM)

For those customers who choose not to purchase/use Dynamic Scheduling, the Order Monitoring module displays orders entered through the Order Entry and Ticketing module and shows the load times of each load as computed by the Scheduling module.

COMMANDconcrete

Modules

COMMANDconcrete Auto Statusing (CC-AST) This feature is designed to automatically trigger and transmit ready-mixed delivery statuses from third party vehicle tracking systems to

COMMANDconcrete. With this feature your trucks automatically move on the truck tracking screen so your dispatcher can track truck status changes with ease. From the standard set of seven delivery statuses, 4, 6, or all 7 statuses may be automatically generated, depending on the features provided by the third party system.

COMMANDpump (CC-PM)The COMMANDpump module adds functionality to COMMANDconcrete to schedule, ticket, track, and report on your concrete pumps/trucks. The module allows orders to have both a concrete/truck schedule and a pump/truck schedule that are directly linked to one another.

COMMANDconcrete Pricing & Prep (CC-PP) The Pricing and Prep module is used for correction of pricing and taxing information. This module interfaces corrected information to the Invoicing module or to a third-party accounts receivable system for invoicing.

COMMANDconcrete Time Analysis Reports (CC-TA) The Time Analysis Reports module combines orders and tickets with delivery status times to produce productivity measurements for each customer, project, order, driver, truck, and plant. Some reports are shown with both charts and graphs to allow for rapid identification of superior performance and quick location of problems.

COMMANDconcrete Scheduling Reports (CC-SH) The Scheduling Reports module compiles data contained within Order Entry and Ticketing to compute schedules and report data such as quantity per hour, minutes between tracking trucks assigned, and other data found within the system. Reports show the commitment of trucks in each plant, plant capacity, and commitment for the total fleet. Other reports show order schedules, dispatch schedules, and suggest driver/truck report times.

COMMANDconcrete Time & Attendance Utility (CC-TAU) The Time & Attendance Utility allows you to transfer driver punch in and punch out times from your Time & Attendance system to COMMANDconcrete.

Back Office Modules | COMMANDquote

COMMANDquote

COMMANDquote is a job/quote

management, tracking, and estimating

solution that seamlessly integrates into

COMMANDconcrete.

The foundation of the quote system is the Job for which

one or many quotations can be easily

created, tracked, managed, and printed. To a Quote you

can assign contacts, pricing, products, and

distribution with estimated quantities directly from the

Job.

Check the status of any Quote at any given time,

engage in win/loss analysis and track

information pertaining to competitors. Quotes can be easily converted to orders and projects by declaration or by the dispatcher. Quotes can be delivered in electronic form for e-mailing, printing, and archiving.

You can define the stages of a Job and what

actions you want to occur as a Job moves through

each stage. For example, when a Quote is moved

to the "lost" stage it is automatically closed. General and product specific pricing may be assigned at any stage in the process (Job, Quote, or Project). A bid-price estimating tool calculates the minimum selling price based upon material, overhead, and delivery costs. The system suggests a minimum selling price based on the desired profit. The user can vary the average load size, travel time, and costs to determine the effect on pricing.

w Provides historical win/loss analysis from a variety of perspectives including customer, plant, or product w Eliminates redundant entry of information

w Eliminates pricing errors

w Benefits of Microsoft technology for delivery of quotes w Eases salesperson’s role for maintaining contact and

Job information

w Easy retrieval of information to address customer issues

w MS Word 2000 or greater

Benefits of COMMANDquote

(7)

COMMANDconcrete

COMMANDconcrete Product Sales Option (CC-PS) This module is designed for special non-ready-mixed inventoried items and allows for entry of orders and ticket printing as a one-step process.

COMMANDconcrete Audit (CC-AU) The Auditing module tracks and reports on any user adding, changing, or deleting records from the master files, including Customers, Projects, and Items, as well as all of the support files such as Plants, Trucks, and Employees. Auditing is also available in Orders, Tickets, and Invoice preparation for tracking changes to orders and tickets.

COMMANDseries Data Archiving (CS-DA)

The Archiving Module provides a mechanism to maintain your COMMANDseries production database while simultaneously maintaining an archived database. The module’s archiving routine saves what you define as “old” transac-tional data (Orders, Tickets, Quotes, A/R records, etc.) and/or log files (data stored as logging information) to the archive database and purges these records/files from the production database, providing optimum database performance for your daily operations. The configuration of the module assures that you can always view online both current and historical COMMANDseries data.

COMMANDconcrete Color Dispenser Interface (CC-CDI) The Color Dispenser Interface module provides a computer link between the Order Entry and Ticketing module and a third-party color dispensing computer. The link sends ticket, mix quantity, truck number, and color batching information directly to the color dispensing computer. An upload feature allows color codes and designs to be pulled directly from the color dispensing system into COMMANDconcrete. The actual features supported depend upon the specific color dispensing system. The interface supports both liquid color and dry color dispensing systems.

COMMANDconcrete Sample Scheduling

(CC-SS) For those customers using COMMANDqc, the Concrete Sample Scheduling module provides a means to manage your concrete testing activities by generating a daily concrete sampling schedule. The Sample Schedule report is based on project sam-pling requirements, delivered concrete volume, and actual samples registered in COMMANDqc.

Concrete Production Manager (EDX-CPM)

Concrete Production Manager is an enhanced

communications interface between COMMANDconcrete and COMMANDbatch, built on our open integration platform, COMMANDedx. COMMANDedx is a transactional model that enables full integration between distinct Command Alkon applications and/or third-party systems.

COMMANDconcrete Two-Way Batch Interface (CC-CAI2B)

This Batch Interface provides a computer link between COMMANDconcrete and the Eagle, Spectrum, or

COMMANDbatch batching controls. The link sends tickets and/or batching information directly to the batch computer. The batch computer can then print a delivery ticket with actual batch weights. The interface allows the batch weights for each plant to be controlled by a central computer and supports the return of batch weights from the batch computer to COMMANDseries, allowing for centralized reporting. This interface works in conjunction with the Order Entry and Ticketing module.

COMMANDconcrete Two-Way Third-Party Batch Interface (CC-SB2) This Batch Interface provides a computer link between COMMANDconcrete and a third-party batch computer. The link sends tickets and/or batching information directly to the batch computer. The batch computer can then print a delivery ticket with actual batch weights. The interface supports central control of batch weights and centralized reporting, but the features of your third-party batch computer will determine how/if you can operate in this manner. This interface works in conjunction with the Order Entry and Ticketing module.

Mobile Signaling Interfaces A variety of Mobile Signaling Interface packages are available that provide an interface between COMMANDconcrete and a signaling system, including COMMANDsignal and third-party systems. Two packages

(CS-VTI, CS-3VTI) use a Serial Interface protocol and include a Vehicle Tracking System Interface with Autostatusing, and an Order Entry and Truck Tracking Interface to Mapping Software. Other packages (CF-VSCI, CF-TI, CF-3VPI)use XML Interface protocols and include a Vehicle Tracking System Interface with Autostatusing, Order Entry, and Truck Tracking Interfaces to Mapping Software and COMMANDfleet, our vehicle/fleet data collection tool.

COMMANDconcrete Network (CC-NW)

The COMMANDnetwork module is a program that runs behind the scenes. It connects multiple users in a network system. COMMANDnetwork also allows various modules to work together as a package.

Back Office Modules

COMMANDconcrete offers a reliable approach to managing your quotes, inventory, cash and credit transactions, and sales and executive reporting needs. Utilizing integrated applications for financials and reporting, data flows seamlessly from the creation of quotes and projects, through order entry and ticketing, and then on to modules for generating invoices and statements, paying haulers, managing inventory, and processing lien notices and releases. Data is consistent throughout the process and is easily posted for use in sales and executive reporting.

Voice Based Scheduling

Benefits of ScheduleCom

w There are no prerequisite modules. ScheduleCom can be used as a stand-alone application.

ScheduleCom provides a solution to the common business problem of communicating daily start times and locations to your internal and external staff. ScheduleCom provides a method for publishing variable work schedules, allowing employees to call in to the system to retrieve their schedule as well as listen to other general or personalized messages. Messages can be set up to require a yes/no response from the employee. Employees have

the option of leaving a return message. ScheduleCom records when an employee calls in to retrieve their schedule and/or messages, giving you a record of received recent safety messages, weather scenarios, traffic statuses, or any other important messages.

Targeted at automating the driver call in process within the construction materials industry, ScheduleCom can also be used for maintenance workers, quality control staff, and even third-party hauling companies.

By integrating with time and attendance systems the application provides actual clock-hours to the scheduler helping them avoid overtime situations when selecting employees for the next work day. The interface also sends the intended start time to the Time and Attendance System which can then prevent employees from clocking in before their scheduled time.

ScheduleCom is a simple to use, stand-alone, browser-based application making it easy to extend administration of messages to dispatch offices, remote employees, or home offices.

“ScheduleCom has been a great addition to our daily operation. It is easy to communicate start times to drivers, along with other important messages. communications interface between COMMANDconcrete and COMMANDbatch, built on our open integration platform, COMMANDedx.
