› Calculation of the wire cutting length
The bt 188 T software calculates the cutting length.
This value guarantees a correctly finished twisted length.
› Grippers
Two different shaped gripper types ensure a perfect hold on the wires while twisting.
Furthermore, the grip force can be adjusted individually.
Consequently, damaging the insulation and shifting of conductors can be avoided.
› Adjustable twist direction
The wires should always be twisted in the same direction as the stranded wires to avoid burst of the insulation.
› Adjustable stretch time / start position
With the adjustable stretch time / start position, a optimal start of the twist process is ensured.
Consequently, a high pitch repetition quality can be achieved and wire knots can be avoided.

› Pre-twist
The slow pre-twist increases the pitch repetition quality.
› Pulling force
The constant and defined pulling force during twisting ensures uniformity of twisting.
The correct pulling force during twisting reduces vibrations during twisting and increases the pitch repetition quality.
› Over twist
The over twist compensates for the elastic behavior of the wire material. It can be adjusted individually depending on insulation type and composition of the stranded wires.

Manual wire insertion
During the twisting process the wires are guided automatically from the twisting to the holding side.
Automatical opening of wire guide and grippers
