The product, SUPERLINK BACnet Gateway Controller, controls and monitors the operation of indoor units of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries' distributed type building air-conditioners. Although the product name includes a word gateway, this product is a type of Application Specific Controller that has various BACnet objects for control and monitor the air-conditioners.

The "Virtual Air-Conditioner" is simulation software for functionality of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries' building packaged air-conditioners. This software is used for testing and configuration of SUPERLINK BACnet Gateway Controller without using actual air-conditioners. The Virtual Air-Conditioner software is included in the SUPERLINK BACnet Gateway Controller. The software can be activated through the Virtual Air-Conditioner web server from an Internet Explorer on a client PC.
From an Internet Explorer on a client PC, each function state of each indoor unit of the Virtual Air-Conditioner Web server can be manipulated as if the actual Function State of the indoor units is changed.
This is simulated behavior of change of state, for example, user's manipulation of air-conditioners.
Air-conditioners can be designated by the number of an indoor unit or the number of an Air-Con Cell, which is a logical group of indoor units. On the contrary, a change of function state of an indoor unit after writing to the corresponding output object can be confirmed.
