The United States Environmental Protection Agency 500, 600 and 8000 series test methods are approved protocols for measuring chemical pollutants in drinking water (series 500), industrial / urban effluents (series 600), ground water (series 8000) and air, soils and water taken from hazardous waste sites (CLP series).
