Government guidance updates

Following on from my last update, I am now writing to confirm that the government have placed England into a full lockdown, with instruction

to stay at home.

As part of the national lockdown schools have been asked to remain open for vulnerable children and the children of critical workers. All

other children will learn remotely until February half term at the earliest.

It is important that we all do all we can to ensure nobody is put at unnecessary risk, including school staff and their families. We will be operating a skeleton staffing structure to provide supervision to children

when they are in school.

We fully appreciate the challenges of juggling working from home and supporting with home learning however we must ensure that everybody

remains at home where it is safe and possible to do so, in line with government legislation.

We are committed to ‘doing our bit’ to reduce the spread of COVID and to keep the Fulham Primary community safe, and we are grateful for

your support. If you want to get in touch at any point, please don’t hesitate to do so via telephone or email.

Please ensure that you look after yourselves and those around you. Ms Schooneman

Health & Safety Procedures

The following procedures

MUST

be followed if any of your

children, OR ANYONE ELSE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD, present with

any of the possible COVID19 symptoms:

a high temperature (37.5°or above)

a new persistent cough (constant coughing for an hour or

more or three episodes throughout the day)

a loss of, or change to, your normal sense of smell or taste

1. If your child, or anyone in your household, displays

any of the above symptoms, you MUST keep all your

children off school

2. You must get a COVID-19 test. If the test comes back

negative (you need to provide proof of this) your

children can return to school as long as there are no

symptoms.

3. If the test is positive, you must inform us immediately

and all your children must remain off school for 14 days

(10 school days).

4. Do not leave the house if you have been instructed

to self-isolate.

We all play a part in making sure we are keeping

ourselves and the school community as safe as possible,

Sharing Learning!

We have a fantastic Twitter account where we post all the great things that are happening in our school and where we share important information.

Please follow us on

@FulhamSchool

Each week, different classes share what they have been doing in and around school.

Communication

It is

absolutely vital

that every

family in our school has this

App downloaded on their

phones.

School Gateway is our main form of communication with you. A text message is a quick and easy way for us to send you information and for you to reply back or let us know something.

All our text messages are sent via this app.

You can access the weekly newsletter, our Twitter page and the school website through the App by clicking on the Useful Links

Tab.

All money payments for school lunches, Breakfast & After School Club will also be made through the App.

It is free to download if you haven't already done this. We still have a small percentage of our families who have not got the

App and therefore are, and will be, missing out on vital information.

Please ensure you have this App installed! Thank you!
