Depending on the underlying licence package, ALLTHATSTATS provides online

access to more than one billion economic data time series and country tables from approx. 65,000 databases published by national and international official and semi official institutions - merged into one

common data warehouse for simultaneous access, facilitating discoverability and

usability of current data.

ALLTHATSTATS has been extended with

integrated web-crawling and indexing

techniques. They frequently scan the web for news and information published by

national statistical authorities, central banks and public research institutions.

ALLTHATSTATS licences are individually adapted to their kind

of usage (e.g. corporate, campus, single user) and the corresponding number of potential users.

Each licence (annual licence = 12 month from starting date) allows unlimited, IP-controlled access, optionally completed by individual user IDs and password access.

ALLTHATSTATS has been optimised for fast

data retrieval at any level of work. It

generates direct hits linking to single time series (e.g. GDP Norway), database hits linking to the relevant data source (e.g. OECD‘s Main Economic Indicators) and links to websites on the internet (e.g. Statistics Norway).

At the top of each page, ALLTHATSTATS

provides the possibility to define a query and to start a simultaneous search through all sources by keywords. The results are listed in up to three different hit lists:

NEAR-FIELD SCANNER

ALLTHATSTATSdisplays the selected series in charts

and tables. It does not restrict the number of time series to be displayed simultaneously.

The charts come with a zoom functionality to scale the series easily by moving the mouse over the requested period.

The following charts are available:

• Area chart, also stacked • Bar char, also stacked • Spider web

„Table“ shows the latest data at the top of the table (LIFO-rule). The table can be extended on demand by increasing the number of periods to be loaded. So even big data tables can be loaded within seconds (e.g. for data downloads).

GRAPHICS

ALLTHATSTATSpresents the selected series in charts and tables. From both views it‘s possible to export, share and publish the data or to switch to the calculator section for further statistical analysis. There are a number of common export formats: CSV, Excel‘s XLS and LaTeX. The corresponding files can be processed/imported by all popular statistics programs and Latex.

„Share“ generates a unique link ready to be passed on to colleagues or social networks, allowing direct access to the respective table or graph.

The calculator section activates a set of statistical tools ready to start individual ad-hoc data analyses for each time series:

DATA EXPORT SHARE

ALLTHATSTATS Rev. 3 comes with „Publisher“,

the new application tool allowing to generate graphs in high qualities (up to 600 dpi)

„camera-ready“ for easy implementation into presentations or publications.

Publisher automatically generates charts for the selected data time series, which can be edited (e.g. headers, axes or legends) and downloaded in various formats:

• PDF, PNG and SVG.

To support individual modifications all graphs can also be downloaded for further handling and processing in R. Publisher provides the corresponding R-snippet incl. data file.
