Senior Information Security Analyst

Assists in developing, maintaining, and publishing corporate information security standards, procedures, and guidelines for enterprise computing platforms. Provides technical guidance and training to information “owners,” corporate security officers, and IT associates and designs and implements programs for user awareness, compliance monitoring, and security compliance. Develops, coordinates, and maintains disaster recovery and business continuation plan, processes, and procedures. Implements upgrades, repairs,

modifications, and replacements of information security devices or software. Analyzes application security needs based on the sensitivity or proprietary nature of the data, and ensures all systems are utilized for management-approved purposes only. Researches, evaluates, designs, tests, recommends, and plans implementation of new or improved information security software or devices. Provides expert working knowledge of the day-to-day operating environment, available tools, operating techniques, and customer applications, and trains information owners and officers in the implementation of necessary computer security controls or new upgraded security software and devices

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

• 5-6 years in IT, with 2-3 years in data administration and security/infrastructure protection methods

• Experience in various database design technique. Highly desirable are certifications in: - Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

- SANS-GIAC certifications (GCIA, GSNA, GCIH, GCFW, GCUX, GCWN, GSEC) - Prosoft CIW Security Professional (CIW-SP)

- Certified Protection Professional (CPP)

- Certified Network Security Professional (CNSP) or Associate (CNSA) - Brainbench certifications

- Internet Computer Security Engineer (ICSE) - Certified Novell Engineer (CNE)

Vice President(Director), SAP Program Management

This position as overall responsibility and accountability for the design, development and maintenance of SAP systems and services enterprisewide or in a designated business unit. Works closely with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify and maximize opportunities to utilize SAP to improve business processes and support critical business strategies, promote the strategic use of enterprise applications

integration, enable the work force to use specific applications technology, and identify users’ information requirements. Provides the corporate leadership, vision, and direction for SAP systems, ensuring support of the company’s business objectives and requirements. Key responsibility for ensuring organizational balance and system coherency between SAP systems, legacy systems, and other technologies. Assures corporate integration with other technologies (e.g. such as Notes, Inter/intranet, legacy systems) and understands how to leverage Internet business applications for competitive advantage. Leads a large development team in design of highly complex software systems. Acts as highest level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility and multiple platforms.

The main challenges to the VP/Director of SAP Program Management are achieving optimum integration level of business systems and SAP systems with evolving technology, providing direction for the

development and utilization of SAP human resources, and collaborating with customers and the rest of IT to balance multiple project priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the SAP project process, from definition stage with Business Unit Owners, end users, and consultants, through the analysis, design, and implementation. Consult with all business units regarding application architecture and technology migration.

• Assist management in developing strategy for optimizing the use of SAP. Recommend SAP priority projects and ROI.

• Responsible for the creation of technical, functional and help desk procedures for SAP systems, unique configurations and supporting documentation.

• Manage the design, integration and support of SAP R/3 systems and align Web technologies with these internal systems to solve and support current business and future initiatives. Effectively execute the development and management of SAP systems including approving SAP R/3 system ports, managing SAP R/3 budget and FTE planned resources.

• Responsible for customizing and programming for SAP R/3 business software in ABAP/4 for functional areas such as Finance, Controlling, HR, Sales & Distribution, Service Management, and Purchasing.

• Manage systems analysis and design, analysis of business processes, programming, reporting, system enhancements, documentation, end-user training, and the implementation of functional business requirements through technical, installation, and testing of SAP R/3 systems.

• Advises on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.

• Recommends internal technology strategy and computing standards, and is responsible for working with technology leaders and business leaders to provide solutions that are consistent with technologies strategic direction and computing platform standards.

• Continually review current IT responsibilities against corporate needs to identify areas where technology can resolve current business problems by the evaluation, integration, implementation and support of such technology and by providing and maintaining a documented set of technology standards (hardware and software) for corporate use. Establish levels of service and support for internal systems to the line organization users.

• Maintain an awareness of the applications’ functionality, best practices and SAP trends and directions. Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management.

• Provide leadership of SAP activities including technical guidance, budgetary management, career development, performance coaching, and administration.

• Consult with business units regarding application architecture and technology migration.

• Continually review current IT responsibilities against corporate needs to identify areas where SAP technology can resolve current business problems by the evaluation, integration, implementation and support of such technology and by providing and maintaining a documented set of technology standards (hardware and software) for corporate use. • Assume primary responsibility for management of consultants with a relationship to SAP.

• Provide leadership to the IT staff including career development, performance coaching, administration, technical guidance and budgetary management.

• Awareness of trends in industry best practices to keep IT and business management and staff abreast of developments in the industry relating to SAP systems.

• Customer-oriented, a positive, team-oriented attitude, flexibility, an understanding of the business issues driving the need for information technology, and solid work ethic are expected.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience is required, with a Master’s degree highly desirable

• 8 to 10 years experience (some could include consulting) in strategic planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of systems, including systems analysis and design of broad-based information systems with state-of-the-art hardware and software systems. Minimum 3 years experience in relational database management systems (RDBMSs), preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms.

• Knowledge and implementation experience in networked computing structures and development of distributed computing technologies, with 3-5 years experience in systems design, application and network design.

• 4 to 6 years of applicable focused SAP applications experience and at least 2 years of SAP project management experience. A demonstrable track record of working successfully with technical support personnel, end users and business management.

• At least 4 years experience in management in supervisory or managerial position, where one or more of the following has occurred:

- demonstrated successful development and implementation of new technologies and work processes - demonstrated high competency in project management and the execution of multiple and/or large projects

- demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management

- experience in leading multidisciplinary, high-performance work teams/groups

- demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems

• At least 3 years’ experience in project management of multiple major development projects using formal project management methodologies, understanding of business operations and SAP applications, change management, conflict resolution and management of SAP technical resources.

• Provide overall leadership and guidance to subordinates; serves as a resource to SAP programmers, developers, and BASIS administrators in designing, configuring and implementing an SAP system which supports the company’s business and operational needs.
