Incomplete Application - Highway, Airport, Marine Services, Winter Roads Operation and Maintenance Activities - Mackenzie Highway (NWT No.1) and all other public highway access roads

Your application for Land Use Permit MV2008EO033 was received on December 8, 2008. Mackenzie Valley Land and Water Board (MVLWB) staff have determined that there is insufficient information to conduct a Preliminary Screening in accordance with section 22(1)(a) of the Mackenzie Valley Land Use Regulations. The following information must be submitted before this application can be considered complete and forwarded for review:

1. Please identify the quantity of water that will be required. 2. Please identify the water sources that will be used. 3. Please provide the application fee ($150.00)

4. Please provide a map (11 X17) for each item that indicates all the possible locations of the following and one map containing all locations:

a. Quarry Locations; b. Stockpile Locations; c. Pitrun Locations;

d. Bedrock Quarry Locations; e. Salt Sheds;

f. Temporary/seasonal Camps; g. Granular Material Exploration; h. Ferry Crossing Locations; and i. Airport Locations.

5. Please provide all coordinates for the locations listed above in table format.

6. Please provide 51 hard copies and 1 electronic copy of the application.

If the requested supplementary information is not provided within 90 days, then it shall be assumed that you do not wish to continue with this application, and it will be returned to you as per section 25 of the Mackenzie Valley Land Use Regulations. Any land use fees that have been submitted in conjunction with this application will be refunded by Indian and Northern Affairs Canada.

If the requested supplementary information is not provided within 90 days, then it shall be assumed that you do not wish to continue with this application, and it will be returned to you as per section 25 of the Mackenzie Valley Land Use Regulations. Any land use fees that have been submitted in conjunction with this application will be refunded by Indian and Northern Affairs Canada this excludes the initial application fee of $150.00.
