, the AREVA Corporate Foundation

lent its support to

44 projects

and monitored

their implementation. These actions benefitted

disadvantaged peoples,

especially children

,

in three areas:

access to healthcare,

educa-tion and culture.

The Foundation spends

two thirds of its annual budget in

France

, with the rest going to countries in which the group is

based, particularly

South Africa, India, Mongolia and Niger

.

The group’s

employees

participate actively each year in programs

designed specifically for them:

calls for projects

, volunteer

missions

to India and Africa, and the

solidarity sports challenge

in which

thousands of employees

took part at the group’s sites.
