Intro to Mobile Printing

The Apple iOS and Android devices were not built with printing in mind. The Apple iPhone was announced back in Jan 2007 and the first Android smart phone was introduced in early 2009, both without any printing facilities.

AirPrint on Apple iOS Devices

 AirPrint was introduced in 2010 at the time only 12 printers were supported (all HP Photosmart printers)

 Not until Aug-Sept 2011 Epson & Canon announced support for AirPrint but only for their inkjet printer models

 Currently around 200 AirPrint compatible printers from HP, Brother, Canon, Epson, Lexmark, Samsung and Dell.

 AirPrint is available on iPad’s, iPhone (3GS or later) and iPod Touch (3rd

Cortado Workplace offers 2GB of cloud storage, can I upgrade

to get more cloud storage?

 No upgrade option. Cortado Corporate Server can offer more cloud storage space to find out more contact Cortado.



ePrint and HP ePrint are they the same?

 No, two completely different products.



My Toshiba Tablet AT200 came with PrinterShare. Is this the

free version or paid version?

 This is the free version which will only allow you to print a test page.
