Single sign-on: The WizIQ Virtual Classroom
doesn’t require Moodle users to maintain separate accounts with WizIQ. Moodle administrators simply need to download the module and install it on their Moodle servers. Teachers and students can then seamlessly access the WizIQ Virtual Classroom without any additional authentication.
Schedule and manage classes, upload content, and view recordings from within Moodle: From scheduling, delivering online
classes, and class management to uploading content for use in these classes, all WizIQ functions are accessible from within Moodle. There’s no separate dashboard, no extra data entry, and no extra work. Just schedule online classes with WizIQ’s Moodle module within your Moodle website and get to teaching online, in person, or both.
No special training required: Once the WizIQ
Virtual Classroom module is installed, live class sessions can be implemented as Moodle activities, and students from around the world can have seamless access to synchronous events within the context of a blended Moodle course.
Direct editing of WizIQ classes and content from within Moodle: Teachers can edit the
schedule for their upcoming classes and make changes to the uploaded content, again, right from within Moodle.
Track class attendance: WizIQ Virtual Classroom
records every time students log in and out. An attendance report is generated by the end of class and teachers can download the report to use for their own records or to share with parents.
Get class recordings: All classes on WizIQ can
be recorded. Teachers can allow students to view the recordings online or download them for later reference. The recorded classes capture all media sharing (audio/video), desktop sharing, and content sharing in the main portion of the WizIQ Virtual Classroom (Breakout Rooms are not captured). A weekly report is sent to teachers on how often the recordings were viewed and/or downloaded.

Supported Versions
The WizIQ Virtual Classroom plugin is numbered to match Moodle versions, so it’s easy for you
to tell which version of the plugin you need. The following table illustrates the currently available
versions and requirements:

Downloading the plugin
1. Click on the Download Moodle Plugin button.

2. You will be prompted to Sign up (if you are new to WizIQ) or Sign in (if you are already a
WizIQ member).

3. Select the Moodle version you want to use the plugin with.

4. You will be prompted to save a Zip file. Select Save and click on the Ok button.
Your download is now complete. The next step is to install the WizIQ Virtual Classroom plugin for Moodle.

Installing the plugin
Once you have the plugin, do the following to install it:
1. Unzip the downloaded file on your Moodle server. Look for 1 folder in the downloaded file: mod.

2. Copy the “wiziq” folder from the “mod” folder and paste it into \moodle\mod

3. Log in as Admin in your Moodle.

4. Look for Site Administration -> Notifications and click on the Upgrade button. Installation of
the WizIQ Virtual Classroom plugin begins automatically.

5. Click on the Continue button to complete the installation process.

6. Once the installation is complete you’ll be redirected to your Moodle account.

Enabling the WizIQ Virtual Classroom within Moodle
Once the plugin is installed, you can turn on the ability to schedule and deliver live classes through
WizIQ by doing the following:
1. Click on the Turn editing on button seen on the course listing page.
2. From the Add an activity drop-down list box, select WizIQ live class.
