Section 3: Tasks

The following tasks must be completed as part of a systematic review. Please let us know which of these tasks you would like a librarian to perform:

* Please Note: If you wish (a) librarian(s) to perform the tasks in bold, we ask that the librarian(s) be included as co-authors of the published study.

Agreement:

If a shorter timeframe is required, the search is treated as a comprehensive search and not considered

systematic- the search will not be peer reviewed, and only 1-2 databases will be searched.

2. The team leader, the contact person, and the librarian agree to the estimated timeframe for delivery of the work done by the librarian, with the understanding that any time estimates are subject to change depending on the nature and complexity of the search, and that factors out of the control of the librarian e.g. technical problems with bibliographic databases, may impact on the estimated timeline.

3. The team leader and the contact person agree to answer all communications in a timely manner in order to facilitate completion of the librarian's work within the estimated timeframe. The contact person should be available to answer questions within 2 business days.

4. The team leader and contact person agree to a $250 fee for services rendered, to be charged to a fund no. and payable upon receipt.
