Safe Tempest International edition
OverviewSafe Tempest is an integrated suite of applications targeted specifically at the process flow of staffing businesses and has been highly successful in the UK and Ireland for a number of years. Our international version of this product enables Safe to supply all of the functionality of the Tempest suite in multi-language and multi-legislative jurisdictions.
The international product came about as many of the global suppliers that we offer UK solutions to, wanted to have the same level of functionality in other local countries, but were unable to find local equivalents to Tempest, which in our experience is unique in the breadth of functional footprint it offers.
System integration and timesheet processing
Safe Tempest International edition provides a solution for customers to manage the flow of timesheets across their international business with provision for payroll and billing.
As well as normal Safe Tempest functionality, the following international functionality is also available:
localised payroll and billing - covering local legislation and local language document production
e-billing - multilingual e-payslips - multilingual worker portal - multilingual client portal - multilingual
ST.net front office - multilingual SMS and email - multilingual Link portal - multilingual
The Link portal defaults to the language setting for the country you are in, and allows you to customise to another language. It allows you to store a user language. In countries where there is not one single national language, we can offer a translation service.
Safe Tempest International edition can be deployed within an existing UK and Ireland Safe Tempest environment or using separate Safe Tempest
environments as per customer preference and connectivity. Safe can provide guidance on the suitable design of environments and infrastructure to meet the clients’ business requirements for the deployment of Safe Tempest International Edition.
Regional and language localisation
Safe Tempest International edition provides appropriate country and language localisation as follows:
supports use of multiple currencies and exchange rates as required for payroll and billing
supports the use of regional settings for date, time and number values supports the use of local address structures
supports the use of local payment processing systems through user configurable payment methods and country specific bank accounts provision for multi-lingual payslip and remittances as per employee and
contractor requirements
provision for multi-lingual invoices and credit notes as per client requirements
provides the ability to capture country specific payroll information for employees in different countries
Safe Tempest International edition has been designed to localise wherever it is necessary to add value to back office processing without having to specialise in every aspect of local payroll legislation. Where an employee payroll is required
The standard Tempest system operation currently supports only the English language.
Payroll interface
Safe Tempest International edition allows a payroll interface to be established with a range of products or solutions for processing the local employee payroll in different countries:
interface to an existing third party local payroll system, either your current system or a new implementation
interface to a local third party payroll bureau or service provider
interface your Tempest International system to a payroll service provided by Safe (subject to country)
The payroll interface allows the various Tempest suite products to drive the business providing employee and payroll information to the payroll system as required and reading payroll cost information back from the payroll where
necessary to complete the usual Tempest billing, gross profit (GP) reporting, and accounting activities.
The Safe Tempest International edition payroll interface utilises standard reporting to reconcile the data being sent to and from the payroll system each period.
Consolidated GP analysis
Safe Tempest International edition calculates the income and cost of sale for every timesheet in a consistent manner taking into account the employer costs applicable in each country. This data provides a basis from which meaningful direct comparison can be drawn between the gross profit achieved in each
location. Most current systems are not integrated to allow for easy comparisons, our is, making it easier for your business to compare between countries.
Integration with financial legders
Safe Tempest International edition provides the ability to integrate overseas pay and bill processing into a centralised global accounting system either built on Safe Financials or any existing Tempest, accounting interfaces already in place. Where necessary financials integration can also be undertaken with any local accounting system as required.
