2. GLOBAL CARE SERVICES

The ER24 Global Care Services product is designed to serve client and patient’s needs across the African continent.

The Global Care product range is comprehensive and includes (but not limited to) the following products:

 Aero-Medical evacuation services

 Medical concierge services

 Medical case management

 International patient management

 Mediclinic Hospital in-patient referrals

 Medical repatriation

 Escorting of minors services

 Repatriation of mortal remains

3. AERO-MEDICAL EVACUATION SERVICES

 ER24 can evacuate clients & patients across the ENTIRE African continent.

 Patients that are being repatriated to South Africa will be evacuated by ER24,

whereas patients going to the UAE or Europe will be evacuated through ER24 appointed service providers.

 Regional evacuations in Central, North, West and East Africa are (in most cases) administered through ER24’sappointed service providers.

 ER24, in collaboration with the client, can source and audit aeromedical providers in Africa including politically unstable, dangerous countries like Liberia, Sudan, and DRC etc.

 This will ensure that all countries and regions, where insured travellers are currently operating, are duly covered and detailed evacuation plans can be produced.

For long haul flights ER24 has two fixed wing aircraft specifically modified as air ambulance aircraft. ER24 provide medical evacuations on par with international standards.

5. MEDICAL CONCIERGE SERVICES

The ER24 Concierge Manager will act on behalf of ER24 or as the clients’ representative when servicing any client / member in South Africa. ER24 is also able to send Concierge Members to other African countries as and when required. This will increase and solidify the client’s presence in South Africa and in Africa.

The ER24 Concierge Services includes (but not limited to) the following:

 Arrangement of accommodation where required

 Transportation (Taxi’s, shuttle services etc.)

 Translation services

 Spousal Support; Cash Assist

 Trauma Counselling (for patient and family members)

 Communication Services; Provision of a loan I Pad with pre-loaded data for internet usage, watching movies and e-mail facilities

 Provision of a “pay as you go” mobile phone & SIM card

 Personal Hygiene; Provision of vanity packs

 Clothes/ pyjamas etc. can also be provided if necessary

 Dispatch of medicine and medical supplies (currently limited to SA)

 Commercial Medical Transportation through various commercial airlines

6. MEDICAL CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES

The Medical Case Management service provides a “one-stop” solution to the clients worldwide. Each case will be managed in a professional manner with the Case Support Manager representing the ER24 / Client’s brand. With the extensive ER24 network of service providers, the patient will be assured of receiving the best possible care. Medical Case Management includes the following:

 Patient referral

 Placement of GOP’s

 Admission and patient management in hospital

 Medical Updates

 Compassionate Visits (currently limited to SA)

 Step down facilities

 Out Patient Case Management

 Account Administration

 Cost Containment

 Cost Estimation

 Direct Billing Agreements

 Inter-hospital Transfer

 Upgrade Transfer

7. REPATRIATION SERVICES

MEDICAL REPATRIATION

ER24 will repatriate the client/patient back to the country of business / or origin – depending on the Client’s instruction.

This will either be with the ER24 Air Ambulance or via a Commercial Airline.

ER24 is a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of Mediclinic.

Mediclinic Southern Africa is a private hospital group operating in South Africa and Namibia.

As a result of the arrangements that ER24 have with these facilities, the Client’s patient will be assured of getting the best possible care and treatment for his/her ailment or condition

VALUE PROPOSITION

As a subsidiary of Mediclinic, ER24 is in an ideal position to offer the client/patient preferential rates (hospital component only) on all hospital admissions into a

Mediclinic hospital.

These preferential rates will not be available for admissions into other hospital groups.

9. HEALTHCARE PROVIDER NETWORK

ER24 has direct billing and GOP agreements in place with all major hospital groups within South Africa.

PROFESSIONAL AFRICAN PROVIDER NETWORK

ER24 has an extensive network of service providers in Africa. ER24 will ensure the further expansion of additional service providers, in order to provide a tailor made solution to suit the Client’s need.

The current service providers include (but are not limited to):  Assistance Companies  Aeromedical Providers  Hospitals  Clinics  Ground Handlers  Ambulance Services

10. IN-COUNTRY REPRESENTATION

ER24 is well positioned to source medical representatives in targeted African countries /areas/ towns / cities.

The purpose would be to provide additional on the ground support to assist the ER24 Medical Team to obtain vital medical updates, reports and coordinate treatment efforts at local clinics /hospitals.

These representatives include (but are not limited to):  Doctors  Nurses  Paramedics  Ground handlers

This will ensure that patients / members not only receive a first class service delivery and support but more importantly ensure in-hospital additional care and support. This will also give corporate employers, family members and employee’s “peace of mind” knowing that immediate care and attention is available to the patient wherever they are based. Medical reports will also be obtained more swiftly.
