Overview

The Peer HMDA Data Dashboard provides CRA Wiz & Fair Lending Wiz users access to the Peer Mortgage data via the web. Using the Peer HMDA Data Dashboard, you can quickly generate market share reports and analysis of protected and unprotected class groups in terms of loan disposition (action) and pricing. Reports can be generated in HTML, PDF, and Excel formats for easy viewing, printing, and archiving, and report results can be filtered by geography (State and/or MSA/MD) and by all or single institutions.

1 - Report format selection menu and View Report button. Use to select the

report format (HTML, PDF, or Excel).



2 - Select State drop-down menu. Use to select the State for which you want to

generate a report (optional).



3 - Select MSA/MD list box. Use to select an MSA/MD for which you want to

generate a report (optional).



4 - Select Institution search box and Search button. Use to search for a specific

institution or institution ID (optional).



5 - Insitution list box. Use to select an institution (optional).



6 - Select Report Type drop-down menu. Use to select an Action or Pricing

report.



7 - Select Data drop-down menu and % Row check box. Use to display report

results by Count or Amount, and/or by percentage of row total.(optional).



8 - Race report tab. Select to generate a Race report.



9 - Ethnicity report tab. Select to generate an Ethnicity report.



10 - Minority report tab. Select to generate a Minority report



11 - Applicant report tab. Select to generate an Applicant Income report



12 - Tract Income report tab. Select to generate a Tract Income report



13 - Tract Minority report tab. Select to generate a Tract Minority report



14 - Gender report tab. Select to generate a Gender report

Accessing Peer HMDA Data Dashboard

The Peer HMDA Data Dashboard is accessible to all CRA Wiz & Fair Lending Wiz users via the

CRA Wiz & Fair Lending Wiz Web Center:

1. Launch CRA Wiz & Fair Lending Wiz. The software displays the Main screen.

2. In the Web Center pane, click the Peer HMDA Data Dashboard link. The software displays the Peer HMDA Data Dashboard.

Note:

The Dashboard does not generate LAR-based reports.

Generating Reports

To generate a report in Peer HMDA Data Dashboard, follow these steps: 1. From the Report drop-down menu, select one of the following options:

HTML (Hyper-Text Markup Language) – Select if you want to review the report onscreen in your Web browser.

PDF – Select if you want to generate the report in Portable Document Format (documents in this format must be opened with a PDF viewer such as Adobe’s Acrobat Reader).

Excel – Select if you want to generate the report in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet format.

2. (Optional) If you want to filter the report by geography, do the following: 2.1. From the Select State drop-down menu, select a State.

Note:

If you want to include all MSA/MDs in the report, select the (All) option, which is the first option in the Select MSA/MD list box. If you do not specify an MSA/MD, the software includes all MSA/MDs in the report by default. 3. (Optional) If you want to filter the report by institution, do one the following:

To list all available institutions, leave the Select Institution text field blank (empty) and then click the Go button. The software displays all institutions in the Institu-tion list box.

Note:

If you want to include all institutions in the report, select the (All) option, which is the first option in the Select Institution list box. If you do not specify an institution, the software includes all institutions in the report by default.

To search for an institution, enter the institution’s name in the Select Institution text field and then click the Go button. The software displays a list of results in the Institution list box. Select the correct institution.

4. (Optional) From the Select Report Type drop-down menu, select one of the follow-ing report types:

Action – Displays results by loan disposition category. Pricing – Displays loan pricing information.

5. (Optional) From the Select Data drop-down menu, select one of the following: Count – Displays report results by count.

Amount – Displays report results by dollar amount.

6. (Optional) To display report results by percent of row total select the % Row check-box.

7. Click one of the following tabs: Race

Ethnicity Minority

Gender Market Share

The software does one of the following:

If you selected the HTML report type in Step 1, the software displays the report in your Web browser.

If you selected the PDF report type in Step 1, the software displays the File

Download dialog box. Click the Open button to open the report (this functionality

requires Adobe Acrobat Reader or other PDF viewing program), or click the Save button to save the PDF file to a location on your computer you select using the resultant Save As dialog box.

If you selected the Excel report type in Step 1, the software displays the report in

Microsoft Excel (if the program is installed on your computer). Note:

You can modify report information at any time by selecting one or more of the filters or options detailed in Steps 2 through 6, then clicking the appropriate report tab again to update the report.
