Everything DiSC is an online behavioural profiling tool used globally by millions of professionals every year to build stronger relationships and improve communication. It is a highly precise tool used to identify behavioural style by measuring attributes or qualities of a person and aspects of his or her personality.
DiSC is an acronym for the four primary dimensions of behaviour: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness.
The DiSC behavioural model is based on research conducted by William Moulton Marston Ph.D. (1893-1947). Marston wanted to examine the behaviour of “normal” people in their environment or within a specific situation. He documented his findings in the book “Emotions of Normal People.”
There is no such thing as a pass or fail with DiSC, and there are no good or bad profiles.
Adaptable Behaviour
Knowing your own DiSC style is helpful in understanding your own natural behavioural tendencies and how to meet your individual needs. But when building relationships with others - something we all have to do - knowing how to adapt your behaviour to improve relationships with other people improves communication and creates win/win solutions.
People Reading
DiSC is not intended to be used to label people. Instead, it’s a way to help us understand their needs. Therefore, one of the great things about understanding the DiSC model is that you can learn to recognize others’ DiSC style through people-reading.
The Everything DiSC Circumplex Model
We exclusively use the Everything DiSC products which are produced by Wiley - one of the largest publishing companies in the world. The most recent DiSC profiles from Wiley are application specific which means they are purpose built profiles for managers and leaders, salespeople, and everyone in the workplace. These tools don’t just provide the individual with an understanding of their own behavioural style, but gives them specific application strategies for improving communication, relationships, and results with others of different styles.
In the Everything DiSC family there are over 15 different profiles,
reports and facilitator supplements currently available with new
profiles constantly being added and refreshed to the Everything
DiSC family.

You might think that DiSC is just DiSC. But it’s not. There are a
number of DiSC profiles out in the marketplace.

The DiSC model also describes behaviours that are easily recognisable in other people. Not only can you develop a better understanding of your own needs and behaviour, you can also build a deep understanding of the people around you, their unique needs and why they behave the way they do.

More accurate
The questionnaire used to take the Everything DiSC profiles uses adaptive testing. With Adaptive Testing (AT), a respondents’ answers determine the next questions they’re given. With this technology, a person’s Everything DiSC profile is 32% more accurate than a traditional DiSC Classic profile.
Easier to read
The Everything DiSC profiles use a true circumplex model to pinpoint your DiSC style. It’s far more simple and intuitive to understand. The traditional way of representing DiSC was in a line graph – we still have this format in our DiSC Classic profiles. However, now we have a dot representing a person’s DiSC style on the DiSC map.

Application-based profiles
Everything DiSC profiles are designed to be easily applied. That’s why they come in five different profile applications – management, sales, leadership, 360 and workplace communication. By using application-based profiles, organisations can help participants see the immediate relevance of DiSC to their field or profession.
Highly versatile
A DiSC profile isn’t black and white. With the Everything DiSC suite, the products are extremely versatile. Each Everything DiSC profile is compatible with the next, meaning participants’ results can be shown across different applications without retaking the
questionnaire. Profiles can be printed in sections to allow control over how much information participants receive at any one time. Even the name of the profiles can be relabeled to match the name of the program you are running.
Free comparisons (see snapshot below)
There are free comparison reports. What a bonus! Choose any two people who have completed an Everything DiSC profile, and generate a comparison report for no extra cost. These comparison reports highlight the similarities and differences between the two participants, identifying the possible roadblocks and benefits of working with each other.
Fast, efficient administration
Included in your accreditation training is access to a highly-advanced online profiling management system called EPIC (Electronic Profile Information Centre) that allows you to easily manage participant reports, generate pair and group reports, reclaim unused credits and track all your activity to name a few.
