Strategy. We can work in alliance with your organisation to define a strategy for transition to NetSuite. The

strategy can be encapsulated in a broader Cloud strategy, or as a more tactical effort focused on helping you achieve a “quick win” for your organisation. Our UK team has varied skills in the disciplines that underpin strategy definition and execution, including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, Business Case creation, Business & Technology Roadmap definition, vendor/software evaluation and selection and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

Implementation. We provide professional services to manage the end-to-end project lifecycle. These

include the following:

o Project & Program Management – Services to plan, mobilise and execute SaaS projects or programs containing a SaaS component.

o Design; Build & Test – Services to help rapid development of high quality NetSuite solutions, leveraging our global delivery network we can tailor the onshore / offshore model to address the cost, quality and schedule expectations of our clients.

o Integration – Whether NetSuite is deployed as a point solution, or as part of a broad transformation, it will typically be necessary to integrate it with other systems in the organisation’s IT landscape. For example, integration with the Data Warehouse; Master Data Management (MDM)

(4)

o Deployment - Encompassing Go-live preparation, Go-Live execution and post Go-Live support our services are designed to support incremental or “big-bang” approaches to deployment.

o Transition – At the end of the project or program, we position our clients for success by supporting transition to the new operating model. For example, empowering business users to build custom reports and perform certain configuration tasks; training the 1st and 2nd line application support staff in incident capture, analysis and resolution.

Governance & Operating Model Definition. We help clients define a Governance approach and process

for:

o Capturing, escalating, and resolving issues and risks.

o Reviewing, prioritising, and approving/rejecting change requests for defined releases.

o Assessing, prioritising, and approving (or rejecting, delaying) new ideas to drive business results. Additionally, we help align the client’s people, processes and technology to maximum effect by defining a high performance operating model.

Managed Services. Accenture offer a range of NetSuite managed service wrappers from full Application Outsourcing

to Application Maintenance only. We can help you to identify the ideal managed service strategies that address your organisation's unique needs, and create a tailored solution based on your requirements. Please see Accenture

2. Methodology & Approach

The Accenture Delivery Suite is Accenture’s proprietary methodology which distills Accenture’s collective experience into an integrated set of components and tools to standardise & industrialise both systems implementation activities and service delivery. This common framework helps our global teams to work in a consistent and predictable manner, delivering reliable, quality solutions and services on time and at a lower cost.

Within the Delivery Suite, Accenture Delivery Methodology (ADM) for SaaS guides our global teams through tasks and activities to deliver value through systems development solutions and ongoing service operations. The methodology supports both waterfall and agile approaches to development. These approaches can be tailored to the requirements of your organisation depending on the scope and nature of the project and the preferences of the client organisation. A core component of ADM for SaaS is the Conference Room Pilot (CRP) framework, which employs business process driven working sessions. Attended by both business & technology representatives, the blended ‘Core Team’ observe demonstrations of NetSuite functionality and make informed decisions around the design, configuration and customisation of the application. Use of the CRP methodology provides clients with increased speed to value and flexibility. The diagram below illustrates how the CRP methodology overlays with the ‘traditional’ phases of the software lifecycle:

(5)

Depending on scope, complexity and client preferences, Integration activities can either follow the CRP framework, or a modified waterfall approach initiated after the initial CRP’s are complete. Where integration between on-premise systems and NetSuite is required, we engage with functional and technical resources early in the project lifecycle to ensure that we can understand key dependencies and constraints impacting the solution and schedule; understand and mitigate security risks posed by the new integration points; and establish the governance process for the integration development and run phases. Utilising our global network, we provide Subject Matter Advisors in Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and Mainframe, SAP, Oracle and Microsoft applications to provide input, quality assurance and thought leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle. See Accenture Cloud Integration Services in the CloudStore for more detail.

3. Assets and tools

Accenture brings a comprehensive set of tools and methodologies for rapid completion of cost-effective NetSuite projects. With the Accenture Delivery Centre Network spanning more than 40 facilities globally and staffed by 71,000 technologists worldwide, Accenture has the flexibility and scalability to tackle large, complex projects quickly while minimising risk. Accenture uses a range of assets and tools throughout the delivery lifecycle to achieve high performance – examples of which are provided below:

Accenture Delivery Suite

• The Accenture Delivery Methods Estimator for SaaS is used to estimate Software as a Service (SaaS) implementations including NetSuite and includes estimating factors calibrated using actuals from prior projects. • Conference Room Pilot (CRP) methodology employs business process driven working sessions (as detailed in the

Approach section). This increases business buy-in to the solution at an early stage and builds the foundation for high rates of user adoption and shortens time to value.

• SaaS Delivery Toolkit – Provides a tool to manage the activities associated with the implementation of a SaaS solution and for on-going maintenance and optimisation post go-live including:
