Abstract— The project “CANTEEN AUTOMATION

SYSTEM USING ANDROID” enables to register online, read and select the food from E-menu card and the user wants to use android application. The result after choosing the food from the E-menu card will directly seem on the screen near the chef. The gadget is the mixture of android as nicely as internet application. The barcode system is used for reading the products. By the usage of this application the work of the waiter is decreased and we can also say that the paintings is nullified. The benefits of this is that if there is a rush in the canteen then there will be change that the waiter will be unavailable and the user can at once order the food to the chef on-line by the use of this application. The user will have username and password, by using which they can login into the system. This means that the purchaser is the regular consumer of the canteen.

I. INTRODUCTION

In today’s age of rapid meals and take out, many canteen have selected to focus short instruction and speed shipping of orders. This provides instant visual confirmation of what we selected and ensure that items in the order are, in fact, what was

intended. Completely automated online of food in the canteen. Various reports to view total sales, Details of registered individuals with facility to print report .Detailed precis of orders located with option to search harder replace, order, status, print. Detailed summary of orders placed with option to search harder update order status print order etc. The number one goal of this task Canteen management device is to offer rapid offerings to their college students, Staffs etc. Usually People ought to visit canteen and order the food sand they must wait in queue for a long term to get the orders. But with the help of this you just should follow a very simple procedure to reserve your stuffs and you want now not to wait within the long queue.

II.LITERATURE SURVEY

In Many places is storing all of their data in manual way. They have huge number of

customers daily. They have large number of customers, and need the help of some

features so they can maintain and store the accurately.

1.The challenges encountered by the manual system in canteens is efficiency and customer satisfaction.

2.The experience of ordering in most fast food canteens is not pleasant for customers.

3.Customers have to make long queue before placing the order and when the order is placed they

have to wait near the customer until the order is prepared.

4.While performing online shopping, many of the users will spend their quality time into reading other user reviews if they are available .

The another trouble is performance that food canteen should preserve of their standard operations and keep with the first-rate of their product and services regardless of how much crowd is found in canteen however they have to maintain performance as properly as fine However, that there are some issues concerning the traditional way to order foods in canteen.

A survey shows that:

• More than 80% of customers and buyers do check and rely on critiques of the people.

• 50% rely on ratings of the online products they want to buy.

• 30% of the users compare the products reviews with others products reviews to get a reliable and trustworthy thing.

Clearly consumers fee the feedback given by other customers as do the groups that sell such products. Blogs, website, are a repository of customer suggestions which are valuable and important sources of textual data. It means that people make their decision of whether to purchase the products or not by analyzing on those products.

III.EXISTING SYSTEM

The canteen facility is a supplementary system that is provided by colleges for their students. They use canteen services as they do not have the means to prepare their own food or unable to get it. Colleges with large quantity of students can't deal with a canteen with manual processes. They need a system that promotes efficient operations to cover a large work force. The canteen

management gadget affords a friendly consumer interface for numerous food outlets, menu design, billing features and masses more. It comprises inventory management, refund and recharge, smart billing design, touch screen operations.

IV.DRAWBACKS OF EXISTING SYSTEM

•Require android phone if user is ordering •Cannot access on offline mode.

•If the social media optimization team makes use of one-of-a-kind IP address to send the review, device will fail to music the fake review. •Requesting server to remove the fake reviews by verifying its content and its IP address.

•Automatic blocking of IP address if the reviews are continuously posting with a same IP.

V.PROPOSED SYSTEM

This system comprises of three major modules and their sub modules as follows:

1.ADMIN LOGIN

• Add/Remove food items

• Order forecasting (predict items most frequently at some stage in precise hours)

2.STAFF LOGIN

• Order placed by customer • Order forecasting

3. USER LOGIN

• menu items • Place an order • Bill payment

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Users of the canteen automation system, particularly canteen customers , have to be supplied the following functionality:

• Create an account. • Manage their account. • Log into the system.

• Navigate the canteen’s menu. • Select an item from the menu.

• Customize options for a selected item. • Add an item to their current order. • Review their current order.

• Remove an item/put off all items from their modern-day order.

• Provide payment details. • Place an order.

• Receive affirmation in the form of an order number.

NON FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

PERFORMANCE CRITERIA:

Time:

The chapsed time among the submission of order method among the consumer and cashier in a canteen must be as minimal as possible.

User-friendly:

1.Our canteen automation system should be more users friendly.

2.The user interface should be kept simple and uncluttered.

3.Since the different type of people will interact with this process so our project should be very easy to them to understand.

Flexibility:

Our project have to be so bendy that whenever we want to make adjustments in it very easily it can be done.

VI. IMPLEMENTATION Time saving:

•Our canteen automation machine is advanced with a number one intention of saving time.

•The customer can order the food and it is also efficient for canteen workers because this system takes lesser time as compared to phone based or manually based systems.

No complication:

•Major complication component for canteen automation gadget is adding a product or coping with products section.

•In our canteen automation machine, no complicated part is concerned in dealing with sections

•We take immense care in this section and nullified all complications which makes this system accurate and unique.

Cost effective:

•It is cheaper to purchase multiple copies of software to install on multiple computers.

•Purchasing any software with an online system, it is not concern.

Security:

•Online systems are just as secure.

•Most online canteen automation systems programs allows to create multiple user accounts with various level of access.

•Data is stored on secure, blanketed servers that function firewalls and other online security programs.

ORDERING SYSTEMS:

1.User of the ordering system will interact with the application through a series of simple forms.

2.Each class of meals has its own shape associated with it which gives a drop down menu for selecting which specific objects from the category need to be delivered to

3.Adding an items to the order is accomplished by a single button click.

4.Users select which category of food they would like to order

5.It should be displayed by navigating a menu bar, an approach which should be familiar to most users.

6.Entering delivery and payment deals is done in a similar manner.

7.The user is presented with a form and must complete the required fields.

8.It include both drop down and text boxes, before checking out and receiving a confirmation number.

VII. PROJECT DESCRIPTIONS

Canteen automation system is the

any delay as they can without delay move

and gather what they Ordered without

watching for a turn or ready time. This

system aims to accelerate customer orders

and purchaser order device used by

employees to accept consumer order. The

purpose of this system is develop a simple

canteen automation system and implement

it, which later will be used for a web based

application The proposed system “canteen

automation system ”is economically

possible because,

1.The system requires very fewer

time factors as compared to manual system.

2.The gadget will offer speedy and

green computerized environment in place

of gradual and error susceptible manual

gadget, thus reducing both time and

manpower spent in running the device.

3.The device can have GUI interface

and very less user schooling is needed to

examine it.

ADVANTAGES

FUTURE ENHANCEMENT This work opens some of paths for future research. The research can be Extended in several directions and some of them are summarized below:

• The scope of this have a look at is limited to only the ones languages that are primarily based

on Java such as Aspect J etc. This work could be extended to be implemented on AOP languages like Aspect C, Aspect C++, Aspect L (Lisp), Aspect XML, and Aspect Android etc , which can further be included in the proposed framework.

•The results obtained from the present work are quite informative and researchers would find them helpful for implementation in real-life projects.

•Since the values of software metrics have been computed on distinct class modules manually, so there is a need to develop an automated tool to predict the testability of a software system based on Aspect Oriented Technology. The tool shall calculate the testability at an early stage of software development life cycle, i.e. from UML diagrams defined at design level.

•A standardized automated tool could also be designed for all the UML diagrams of Aspect Oriented Systems

•Due to the dearth of time, the layout part isn't completed so attractive.

•Further enhancement can be made in designing the screens.

•Some extra forms also can be brought in order to higher retrieve the remarks details.

•Various other alternatives also can be delivered for the higher usability of project.

CONCLUSION

1.It will overcome the issues related to traditional canteen management system and provide scalable and reliable.

2.It provides frequent ordering list for fast ordering.

4.To implement this design, a computer program was then written and tested in visual studio

environment.

5.It is was hoping that effective implementation of this software program product would remove any troubles determined during device

investigation.

6.Now a days technology is growing day by day and there are so many website and application available in the online canteen automation system by which they sell their product.

7.Every product contains millions of reviews and on basis of these reviews user buy the product most of the time.

8.There are some organizations which post fake reviews on genuine products and user get struck.

9.It also sends notification message to user regarding blocked IP address.

10.User can be sure about the products availability on that application and reviews.
