HYDRAULICS

The hydraulic system controls all of the main functions of the compactor. The engine drives the hydraulic pumps, which supplies the flow of hydraulic fluid to drive the hydraulic motors, converting this energy to rotation motion. The distribution of the hydraulic fluid throughout the compactor is sent through pipes and pressure hoses. Other controlling elements are installed inside the hydraulic circuit, for regulating and for safety - electromagnetic distributors, hydrostatic locks, safety and control valves.

The hydraulic system consists of the following circuits: - Hydraulics for travelling + hydraulic brakes

- Hydraulics for vibrations

- Hydraulics for steering

- Hydraulics for lifting - Hydraulic reservoir

(181)

DIAGRAM OF THE HYDRAULIC CIRCUITS

The hydraulic circuits are connected identically for both compactors. Differences are only in the types of pumps and hydraulic motors used.

-The SV212 compactor uses the 90R042 pump and the 90M042 hydraulic

motor for vibration.

-The SV216 compactor uses the 90R055 pump and the 90M055 hydraulic

motor for vibration.

- Additional differences are in the adjustment of a control pressure bypass valve in the body of the vibration pump, where in the SV212, its pressure it is set to 610 psi (42 bars), and in the SV216, it is 410 psi (28 bars). Control pressure setting in the bodies of the travel pumps is identical in both cases - 320 psi (22 bars). Operation of the individual closed circuits or their parts is described in detail.
