3. By-laws on Amendments in the Study and Examination Regulations
for the
Bachelor's Programme of
International Management
at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology
Dated 1 October 2020
On the basis of Art. 13 Para. 2 Clause 2, 58 Para. 1, 61 Para. 2 Clause 1 of the
Bavarian University and College Act (BayHSchG) of May 23, 2006 (BayRS
2210-1-1-K), last amended by § 1 Para 186 of the Ordinance of 26 March 2019 (GVBl. p.
98), the Deggendorf Institute of Technology enacts the following by-laws:
§ 1 Amendments
The study and examination regulations for the Bachelor's programme of
International Management dated 1 August 2014, in the version dated 20 March
2019, are amended as follows:
1.) The following § 3 has been inserted after § 2:
§ 3
Qualification requirements
(1) For the Bachelor's programme of International Management, the general
admission requirements for studying in accordance with the Ordinance on
the Qualification for Studying at Universities in the Free State of Bavaria
and at State-recognised Non-public Universities (Qualifkationsverordnung
- (QualV) (GVBI. p. 767, BayRS 2210- 1-1-3-K/WK) as amended, must be
met.
(2) A proof of aptitude in accordance with the By-laws on Aptitude Assessment
for the Bachelor's programme of International Management dated 15 April
2020 is also required.
(3) English language skills of level B2 CEFR are a prerequisite for admission to
the programme.
Regarding the proofs, the regulations set out in § 3 of the framework
general examination regulations for additional qualifications in foreign
languages and

compulsory elective subjects of a general academic nature of the
Deggendorf Institute of Technology shall apply as amended.
The numbering of the subsequent paragraphs is adjusted such that it is
consecutive.
2.)
In § 4 Para. 1 (henceforth § 5 Para. 1), the denomination of the faculty
“Business Administration and Business Informatics” is replaced by “Faculty
of Applied Economics”.
3.)
In § 6 (now § 7) Clause 3, “modules G-25 to G-35” has been changed to
“modules G-24 to G-34”.

1) As part of "Foreign Language I to III" one language must be completed at least with level A1. Students whose native language is not German take German as a foreign language as "Foreign Language I to III".
2) 30 ECTS obtained at a foreign university, of which min. 20 ECTS in the fields of business administration, economics, business informatics and foreign languages 3) Students should pass both examinations to pass the module.
4) Students need to obtain the grade “Sufficient” or better to pass the Bachelor exam.

§ 2
Coming into effect
The amendment shall enter into force on October 1, 2020 and shall apply for all
students who start their studies on this date.

Issued based on the resolution of the Senate of the Deggendorf Institute of Technology dated July 22, 2020 and the regulatory approval of the Vice President of the Deggendorf Institute of Technology dated October 1, 2020.
