Application delivery from the cloud. No hassle.
A scalable platform: simple and cost-effective
In today’s business environment, we need flexibility and agility to manage increasingly mobile and dynamic workforces. Business requirements are changing as we strive to stay competitive and reduce overall costs—all while supporting the growing number of devices that people choose to use.
Delivering and rewriting corporate resources and native applications, such as sensitive line-of-business (LOB) or legacy applications, to different device platforms simply and cost-effectively is no easy task. We designed Azure RemoteApp to overcome key IT challenges and bring scale, agility, and flexibility to your organization.
Why Azure RemoteApp?
No expensive on-premises costsWith Azure RemoteApp you can take advantage of inherent cloud agility and meet the dynamic needs of your business without getting overwhelmed by expensive on-premises costs. With per-user, per-month pricing, your costs are always predictable—even when the demands of your business change.
Your apps, our cloud
That means no hassles. We take care of the hardware and scaling for you so that you can easily meet the dynamic needs of your business. There’s no need to invest money and time maintaining, upgrading, and installing on-premises servers. Just upload your apps and manage them from the Azure portal.
Works with what you have
With Azure RemoteApp you can deliver your apps from the cloud simply and quickly without the need for rewriting. You can modernize your app delivery infrastructure and run your app in the cloud as is.
Windows apps on any device
Azure RemoteApp runs your company’s applications on Windows Server in the Azure cloud where they’re easier to scale and update. Deploy your way
Azure RemoteApp provides you with the freedom to accommodate your infrastructure. Choose from a variety of deployment options to fit your hybrid or cloud-only architecture. You can provision access using the pre-built application collections or custom template images. You can also bring your own applications to this cloud-only architecture.
You can connect your on-premises infrastructure and data with hybrid architecture, or, if your current architecture is in the cloud, you can simply deploy Azure RemoteApp to the same VNET connection where your virtual machines (VMs) reside.
Customize your deployment
Domain join: You can choose to domain join your VM session hosts in Azure RemoteApp to your Active Directory. This way all of your policies and security settings that are already in place are respected.
VPN connection: In order for your users to access corporate data residing on your on-premises network, you can create an Azure VPN connection to your corporate data in your on-premises network. If your data is already in Azure, just deploy Azure RemoteApp to the same VNET connection where your virtual machines reside.
Azure AD Connect:You can create an Azure Active Directory connection to your on-premises Active Directory so your users can access Azure RemoteApp simply with their corporate credentials.
