You can open a strategy from the Main Dashboard or by using the Navigation Bar.

To open your strategy, use the navigation bar and select Strategy > Open existing strategy

(16)

16 Once you have selected a strategy, click the OPEN button.

3.3. Strategy templates

Strategy templates provide an easy and accessible method for trying commonly used algorithmic strategies. There are currently four ready-to-use strategy templates available in including Market Making, EMA Crossover, Smart Order Routing (SOR), and Arbitrage. More strategy templates will be added in future updates.

Users can add any one of the available strategy templates and start trading right away. Once opened any strategy template can be edited.

(17)

17 3.3.1. Market Making

This strategy template evaluates bid/ask spreads and selects one of two scenarios based on the value of the spread strategy. If the spread is greater than a certain value (as defined in the strategy), it places limit orders in front of the current bid/ask orders to narrow the spread. If a minimum spread value (defined in the strategy) is reached, the strategy stops narrowing the spread and starts placing limit orders at the current bid/ask value. For both scenarios, the Market Making Strategy will try to make profit from based on the differences between bid/ask prices.

3.3.2. EMA Crossover

Moving average cross is one of the most commonly used signals in technical analysis. The EMA Crossover Strategy executes buys on upwards and sells on downwards cross

between two different exponential moving averages. EMA values can be set by the user. To define the cross, the strategy uses the current EMA value and one previous historical EMA value. If the historical value of the first EMA is lower than historic value of the second EMA and the current value of the first EMA is higher then current value of second EMA, the outcome is an upwards cross. The opposite results in a downwards cross.

Because the moving average cross is a common trend-following strategy, we integrated a Bitcoin sentiment condition as an addition input for the Order Decision Node. For

example, the Sentiment Node can overrule upwards cross signals and the strategy will not execute a buy if Bitcoin sentiment isn't positive.

(18)

18 3.3.3. Smart Order Routing (SOR)

The goal of smart order routing is to find the best prices for executing trades and taking advantage of the opportunities across a range of exchanges. The SOR Strategy monitors order books from three different exchanges and uses RSI (Relative Strength Signal) as a trade signal. This strategy is designed to identify the best price between three exchanges and execute buy/sell orders. Any number of exchanges can be used with the SOR Strategy, adding a new exchange is just a click away.

3.3.4. Arbitrage

This strategy makes simultaneous buy and sell orders for a specified digital asset pairs. Its goal is to profit from price differences between two chosen exchanges (Market

microstructure data will be added in to Nodes in a future DPP Platform update). The Arbitrage Strategy continuously evaluates bid/ask differences between two exchanges and when an opportunity arises (price difference is greater than the value defined in the strategy), it automatically initiates two simultaneous trades (one buy and one sell) on the two exchanges. This strategy template can be used to explorer market inefficiency between exchanges and buying/selling digital assets at optimal prices.

3.4. Strategy wallets

In strategy wallets user defined amount of assets that strategy managed.

Amount of defined assets may be lower or higher than the actual balance on users exchange account.

3.4.1. Add strategy wallets

Before adding a strategy wallet there are two steps you need to complete: 1. Add an account from any supported exchange by using the Navigation Bar and selecting Account Overview (see description 2.1 Adding Exchanges)

2. Create a strategy (see description 3.2. Creating a Strategy) or open an existing strategy (see description 3.2.7. Open Strategy).

Once those first two steps are complete, click on the MANAGE STRATEGY WALLETS button.

(19)

19 Now click the ADD WALLET button.

Define type of wallet from drop down menu - Live wallet

- Forward test wallet

(20)

20 Once you have added an exchange it’s time to set the rest of the parameters for your Strategy Wallet.

Add exchange currency – select a currency that you want to use. Selected currencies will be displayed.

(21)

21 Max orders allowed – The maximum number of orders that will be allowed from the selected exchange when used in a strategy.

Max orders volume for selected currency – The maximum volume limit for open orders in

When these fields have been filled out, click on the ADD WALLET button to create the strategy wallet. Your wallet will now be displayed in your Strategy Wallets list.

3.4.2. Managing strategy wallets

Users can add and preview multiple strategy wallet. Change strategy wallet detail is not allowed because profit can be calculated (user can remove existing wallet and add new one with different parameters)

(22)

22

3.5. Strategy assets

3.5.1. Total strategy assets

Total strategy assets are calculated based on all of your added assets from all of your added strategy wallets.

For example: If you add 2 strategy wallets (Bitstamp with 1 BTC, 5 ETH, and $1000 USD and Kraken with 0.5 BTC, 12 ETH, and $250 USD), your total strategy assets will be 1.5 BTC, 17 ETH, and $1,250 USD.

3.5.2. Reserved strategy assets

Reserved strategy assets are the total amount of open orders you have in a strategy. For example: If user create order with total amount of 0,5 BTC, 2 ETH and 250 $ total reserved strategy assets are 1 BTC, 15 ETH, and $1000 USD.

3.5.3. Available strategy assets

Available strategy assets are the difference between the total strategy assets and the reserved strategy assets.

For example: Using the examples above, your available strategy assets are 0.5 BTC, 2 ETH and $250 USD.

(23)

23 3.5.4. Strategy profit

Strategy profit represents difference between initial amount allocated for specific strategy and current amount of assets. The profit will be displayed in absolute ($ USD dollars) and in relative (% percentages).

3.5.5. Total USD

The approximate amount of all assets in a strategy. This is displayed in USD. The rate used to calculate the approx. amount in USD is the current rate for selected coin value on the exchange being used in the strategy.

(24)

24

3.6. Nodes
