About Us, the dbh Logistics IT AG
We are on of the leading service providers for software and support in the subject areas of customs and foreign trade, compliance, transport management, port operation, and SAP. With more than 40 years of experience, we develop busi-ness solutions for industry and trade, forwarding and logistics, as well as for shipping and ports.
The portfolio ranges from consultation, conception and implementation to host-ing and support. In the data centres in Bremen, we operate individual applications as well as complex IT infrastructures and SAP systems.

Advantage Customs is the solution for efficient customs clearance. Certified for all ATLAS procedures and tried and tested in practice over many years. Further- more, all current European customs systems are connected. Additionally, numer-ous comfort functions facilitate the national and international customs clearance with Advantage Customs.
Main focus of the conception was a quick, reliable and safe customs clearance. Another focus was the ease of operation.
EU Pre-Declaration
With Advantage Pre-Declaration we provide a user-friendly solution to create and send entry and exit summary declarations in the required country specific format.
As a stand-alone solution or integrated, our solutions suit perfectly in your IT environment.

Supplier’s Declarations, Preference Calculation and Origin of Goods
The correct origin identification of goods in the issuance of preference docu-ments is of increasing importance for international operating companies. If you calculate preferences, you are legally obliged to carry out a complete proof of the preference-eligible origin in the form of supplier’s declarations on merchan-dise and many processing rules.With Advantage Preference, we put the right tool in your hands, in order to easi-ly manage supplier’s declarations, identify goods origins and calculate preferenc-es profpreferenc-essionally.

Sanctions List Screening
Screening of your business contacts is completed within seconds. The module Sanctions List Screening, also known as Sanctioned Party List (SPL) Screening, matches the verification mechanism to your requirements exactly. In a web cli-ent, synchronously upon entry, or as a regular batch processing task.
Tariff Classification
The module is designed to reduce time and effort spent on classification of goods. Furthermore, Tariff Classification is used for the sustainable documenta-tion of correctly identified customs tariff numbers.

For commercial trans- actions and brokerage enterprises you must also check to see if the supply of goods, technology or software to other countries is subject to approval.
Export Control
At the touch of a button the Export Control module provides information for individual articles or complete export consignments. This includes compulsory approvals in accordance with dual-use-regulations, prohibitions and restrictions, TARIC codes and US re-export controls.
A sanction and embargo list check completes the module. In addition, it is an aid when checking goods according to their end use.
Up-To-Date Content
The dbh software Advantage Compliance obtains up-to-date Federal Gazette (Bundesanzeiger) content to level the path to a conformable compliance management.

Import and Export of Goods
With the ATLAS Export/AES and ATLAS Import plug-ins, you can automate elec-tronic clearance of exports and imports.
Document Monitoring
Create your customary-relevant documents (for example EUR1, certificate of origin, etc.) with free text indications. In addition, you can control messages and monitor and print documents concerning the customary processes.
Origin of Goods and Preferences
The Origin of Goods and Preferences plug-ins allow monitoring of incoming and outgoing supplier’s declarations and creation of working folders to transfer to Advantage Preference. Status messages are displayed in your SAP ERP.
Sanctions List Screening
Easily check your business contacts against existing sanctions lists with the Compliance plug-in. Extensive master data batch checks in the area of SAP-HR and other specialist field areas are also possible.

Tariff Classification
With the Tariff Classification plug-in, you can automatically monitor and transfer materials to comfortably determine correct customs tariff numbers. In addition, modifications of the content are automatically considered in Advantage Compliance.
Export Control
Using the Export Control plug-in, business objects - like SD assignments or MM orders - are synchronously and asynchronously checked and locked, if necessary. Follow-up functions can be avoided.
Entry Certificate/VAT ID Inspection
Create your Entry Certificate with an appropriate plug-in directly out of SAP. For automatic VAT ID Inspection of your trading partners, the software extension compares data saved in SAP with data registered as company data of the corresponding EU member states.
EMCS
The EMCS plug-in for SAP allows you to process transport of goods subject to excise duty. Ranging from manual entry to completely automated processing.

In 1973 our Bremer Hafentelematik system went into operation as the central communication platform for the ports of Bremen, Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven. Our solution for the JadeWeserPort followed with the Wilhelmshaven Telematik at a later time. Both systems allow entry and processing of incoming and out-ward shipments and consignments of goods.
