The issue of fiscal planning flared up when the Budget
2014-2015 released, and it’s indeed motivating to see that government
will allocate more funds on IT development compared to the
past. What’s more, government also have lofty aims to move
forward to be a “Smart City” with the digitization in governmental
operations.
We are glad when Mr. John Tsang affirmed that the government operations will further be digitalized and more paperless solutions will be actively implemented. The use of Internet of Things, sensors and big data analytics will be the core direction to enhance municipal management.
Yet, IT infrastructure and smart technology development should be amply encouraged in future. In fact, it comes as no surprise that Hong Kong may risk in falling behind some Asian cities when competing in IT business development. Some industry members worried about the government being complacent with current stage, so other than budget allocation, specific timetable
for IT facilities implementation and all-rounded support (infrastructure and policies) are also crucial for clustering
smart technology development.

FlexWorkflow and Canon have collaborated to organize a Smart Workflow Management Workshop at Canon office to introduce the integral solution for building a smarter office. There are successful case sharing, live demonstration and hands-on training in the workshop, where participants could increase understanding on the solution.
FlexWorkflow and Canon will co-organize the Smart Workflow Management Workshop bi-monthly on a regular basis with the core commitment of continuous development on a more comprehensive workflow management solution to cater the needs of consumers in all industries.

All guests are invited to the cinema VIP lounge with delicate pastries right before the show, and at the end, all guests had an enjoyable night with the blockbuster that made a remarkable success of the night.

25 Apr 2014 FlexWorkflow and Wacom jointly organized a seminar to introduce a unique all-in-one solution, the Digital Signature Automation, and the seminar was taken place in the Regus Conference Centre, Wanchai.
Digital Signature Automation effectively enhances security level with biometric verification as well as reduces paper consumption and total processing time, which ultimately saves costs and operates a low-carbon office. The strategic partnership of FlexWorkflow and Wacom will go on with their shared vision of providing innovative solutions to optimize business process.

Earlier in February, FlexWorkflow made an important announcement to all customers about the support suspension for FlexWorkflow WebAgent. Due to Microsoft’s extended support for Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 has been suspended since 8 October 2013 and it caused directly impact on FlexWorkflow WebAgent with the Microsoft .NET framework 1.1. FlexWorkflow has long been committed to the mission of offering the best services far beyond expectations, for which we constantly improve our solutions to provide a more comprehensive care to your organization. To provide more extensive service to customers, the support service for FlexWorkflow WebAgent is prolonged until 30 September 2014.
We are currently providing limited support service on FlexWorkflow WebAgent with no additional enhancements and patch updates, and FlexWorkflow WebAgent only supports Internet Explorer 9 or earlier versions. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade the system to FlexWorkflow SilverlightAgent with .NET framework 3.5 or above in order to enjoy the fully support from Microsoft and FlexWorkflow.
After migration to FlexWorkflow SilverlightAgent with .NET framework 3.5 or above, your company can enjoy the outstanding system performance and stability after system upgrade in order to optimize your daily operation eventually.
