Hamilton Bradshaw

benefits from the ABL approach

The Challenge

When looking for suitable investment to fund on-going growth within their portfolio, the Principals sought a modern, flexible and efficient style of financing to support the growth of their business. They needed an informed, professional financier capable of understanding the business risk and the enterprise value as opposed to purely financial criteria.

It was clear the Principle sought to understand the position of the Funder but also required the Funder to understand their individual investments.

The Solution

A tailored funding package was created allowing headroom and flexibility to support their portfolio development

£50m of funding sanctioned, involving Invoice Discounting and cash flow loan facilities.

The Result

Optimising transparency of the funding package supported continued further growth of investment funds with deal flow continuing

secures opportunity for growth

The Challenge

Donatantonio had good growth opportunities; both in its existing and prospective customer base and a well invested infrastructure in terms of its warehousing, logistics and technical capability. However, the business needed to restructure. Beringea, an international Private Equity firm and manager of the ProVen VCT’s, backed a BIMBO. Beringea invested through ProVen VCT and ProVen Growth & Income VCT to support the transaction.

The Solution

In support of the Private Equity acquisition, ABN AMRO Commercial Finance provided an Asset Based Lending facility. This created additional funding, growth finance and enabled the company to accelerate its growth plans Combined with the Asset Based Lending

solution, support was given though a combination of Invoice Discounting, stock finance and a cash flow loan.

“I’ve found the team at ABN AMRO Commercial Finance to be very helpful and flexible around our commercial needs. For example, we have been growing our sales with a particular customer and we needed to increase our concentration limit to maintain funding – and ABN AMRO was able to approve an increase in the limit within a fortnight.”

Donatantonio

“When we’ve had difficulty, they’ve worked with us, they’ve seen us through it. And then when we’re enjoying good times, and on the other side of the bank, then they are extending our lines and allowing the businesses to develop and grow. So, I’ve been delighted with the service that I have received from ABN AMRO Commercial Finance.”
