God Gives Me Good Things
Scripture: Matthew 5:1, 2; 6:25-34 Focus: God gives me good things.
Bible Words: “God gives me good things” (based on Matthew 7:11).
Heart to Heart Teacher Devotion
Psalm 34:10 says, “Those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.” Psalm 84:11 says,
“The Lord God is a sun and shield; . . . no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.” God does give us good things, doesn’t He? What an amazing variety of food God gives us to enjoy. Our choices of clothing are overwhelming. God provides homes in all shapes and sizes for us to enjoy, and there’s always an abundance of water for our use.
The psalmist says to God, “You are good, and what you do is good” (119:68). Let’s thank our good God for the good things He gives us.
