Replaces the approved standard NF EN 134455, dated September 2002 and its amendments A1 dated September 2007, A2 dated November 2005, A3 dated August 2006, A4 dated March 2007, A5 dated December 2006 and A10 dated November 2008.

Analysis

This document defines the requirements for inspection and control of pressure vessels not subjected to flame. The six other parts of this document set the scope, terms, definitions, symbols and units, the requirements for the materials, design and manufacturing, as well as additional requirements for spheroidal graphite cast iron vessels and aluminum vessels. All parts NF EN 134451 to NF EN 134456 and NF EN 134458 are intended to support the essential requirements of European Directive 97/23/EC "Pressure Equipment".

Version 1 of the new 2009 edition of standard NF EN 13445 replaces the 2002 edition by incorporating amendments and corrected pages having been subject to versions 2 to 36, without any further technical modification. Amendments to this new edition will be adopted in the future. They will be published in a separate form before being incorporated into the next version that is expected to be published annually. At the French level, AFNOR will provide these various documents in the form of versions, amendments and cor-rections identified as follows: The current version, the pages corrected with respect to the previous version, the amendments adopted at a date
