About Integrated Media Technologies

Founded in 2007, Integrated Media Technologies Inc. (IMT) is a consulting and systems integration company delivering technology and services that enable clients to achieve their strategic business goals. IMT’s clients include a broad range of companies in the telecommunications, media & entertainment, public, and healthcare sectors. Customers are served by offices in Los Angeles, San Jose, Dallas, and New York City.

Times are changing.

The up and

coming generation is demanding a stimulating

and interactive training experience. Corporate

leadership is looking to reduce training costs

and drive more productivity and efficiency in the

workplace. Continuous learning is an imperative.

IMT introduces Interactive Virtual Learning (IVL) a comprehensive system to bring the advantages of Instructor Led Training with the cost effectiveness of Distance Learning.

IVL is a high definition interactive LIVE video production and delivery environment for real time technical and soft skill training to students, dispersed geographically across the planet. IVL connects instructors and students from any location in the network, enabling precise interaction between instructors and students, linking both to engage in an intimate exchange of knowledge while saving big money on travel and lost worker productivity. IVL is revolutionizing distance learning, building a better trained workforce and saving large organizations millions of dollars in employee related expenses. The results have been astonishing. With thousands of employees using IVL at one of America’s largest telecommunications companies, IVL trained students are testing higher for comprehension and retention than any other training method, including instructor led training.

Drive More Value Per Training Dollar Investment

A large telecommunications customer significantly reduced travel related expenses after implementing IVL. Interactive HD video puts the instructor in front of every student in every IVL equipped classroom simultaneously. This company saved over millions in annual travel expense and lost productivity, and a 100% return on their investment in the first year of operation.

Improve Comprehension and Retention

Tests with customers have shown Web based training suffers from inconsistent knowledge transfer and low retention rates. IVL puts instructors in every classroom, in front of every student. Instructors are able to recognize when students aren’t paying attention or have a question. The instructor can call on individual students and respond in real time with answers and additional information. Customer studies have shown that IVL has the highest retention rates, compared to their other training methods.

Reduce Travel Expense for Training to Zero

With IVL Classrooms in every company facility, students no longer travel to centralized campuses for instruction. Instructors conduct classes directly from their labs, so not only are they saving money and time by not traveling from facility to facility, but their equipment and training materials secure in one place.

Connect Instructors and Students

No Matter Where They Are

Instructors teach from their own labs or offices, students attend classes in their home locations, all at the same time. Efficiency is maximized by training large numbers of students simultaneously. IVL connects instructors to classrooms and desktops all over the world.

Reduce the Cost of

Vendor Training

With the ability to deploy IVL at vendor locations, our customers are able to receive more vendor training at a lower cost.. The vendor can conduct all of their training from their own labs and train many hundreds of engineers and technicians on the vendor’s new technology.

IVL Use Cases

For Corporate Communication and HR organizations, IVL provides a high quality, multi-cast interactive television system to communicate directly with large, distributed audiences to deliver corporate wide messages and communications in real time, to the desktop. IVL enables HR related training and corporate communica-tions to be delivered to a large and distant audience where all students and employ-ees are present and accounted for.

Schools and universities continue to adapt new technologies to their education mission. IVL enables the education segment to deliver highly personalized science, technology, and vocational training, connecting instructors and professors to a wide and disbursed student body. IVL brings students virtually into the labs of their instructors and gives instructors a high quality interactive tool to monitor student attention and interest.

Case Study

IVL was developed under contract with a large telecommunications client to deliver a richer and more comprehensive educa-tional experience for employees who were required to maintain certifications and competencies in various technologies used by the company. The IVL initiative was designed to take the best features and cost benefits of distance learning, and combine them with the value, interaction, and knowledge retention obtained with instructor led classroom training. IMT was charged with designing and implementing a high definition interactive solution that linked instructors in remote locations with trainees spread over the company’s many facilities across the world. The IVL system had to be location independent, easy to operate, accessible to any employee, and cost efficient.

With the first phase roll out of the IVL system, a rigorous analysis was undertaken to measure the benefits to the users and to the organization. The analysis determined that IVL scored in the 97th percentile for curriculum retention, making IVL the best performing training methodology compared to web training, in person instructor led training, and video conferencing. In addition, a financial analysis proved a 100% return in the first year of operation. Hundreds of trainees are now using the IVL system on a daily basis connecting instructors in company and vendor labs with classrooms across multiple facilities.

For technical, proficiency, and certificated learning, IVL provides a highly interactive, high resolution platform for efficiently training a large, geographically disbursed student/trainee population. The IVL training platform is turnkey, providing all of the necessary technology, training tools, distribution, accessibility, and security to deliver the highest level of knowledge transfer.
