Exchange 2007 Branding

Since POA 2.8 HF 02, Provider and Reseller get the possibility to manually configure the brand for such Exchange services as OWA, IMAP, POP3, SMTP. The branding

configuration assumes that end-users will use branded hostnames/URLs (for example,

yourbrand.com) and will not see the provider’s or reseller's ones (for example, provider.com

or reseller.com).

New VPS Traffic Accounting Method Added

Besides the already existing Aggregated accounting method where VPS incoming and outgoing traffic was calculated jointly, the new Separated method is added since POA 2.8 HF02 allowing to calculate the incoming and outgoing traffic separately.

Open-Xchange Integration

Since POA 2.8 HF02, integration with Open-Xchange is supported. Open-Xchange is integrated with POA by means of the APS.

Important! Open-Xchange requires POA Qmail Hosting Module where the LDAP and

WHOSON servers are mandatory. Thus, if POA Qmail Hosting Module without the LDAP and WHOSON servers is used, this module should be upgraded.

PBA 4.4 Control Panel Integration

Since POA 2.8 HF 02, the “Use PBA 4.4 URLs for CP integration” System Property is added. For the proper integration of PBA Control Panels with POA, this property should be enabled if PBA of version 4.4 or higher is used.

Ability to Disable Legacy Web Applications

Support in Linux Shared Hosting Subscriptions

Since POA 2.8 HF02, it is possible to disable the support of the so-called legacy web

applications in POA. Legacy web applications are third-party applications still supported by

POA, but not maintained (updated to newer versions, etc.) since POA 2.6.5. By disabling support of these applications, you can make the /apps/ and

/applications/ directory names available for using on customers' websites. If legacy applications support is enabled (the default option), these directory names are reserved by POA for working with legacy applications.

After support is disabled, legacy applications will not operate on newly created websites, including those created under existing Subscriptions.

Support of Service Users for Linux Mail Hosting

Since POA 2.8 HF02, Service Users for Linux Mail Hosting are supported:  When a Customer creates an E-mail Address, a Service User is created.  Customer obtains an ability to add/remove E-mail Service for Service User.  Login and Password of a Service User are used for accessing a Mailbox.

The Service Users menu item appears in the Customer's Control Panel for the Accounts having Linux Mail Hosting Subscriptions.

There are the following known issues, that does not fixed yet in POA 2.8 HF 02:

It is possible to select Application Backup

several times for deletion, that leads to

incorrect resource usage accounting

Symptoms

open-xchange > Backups tab when Customer deletes an Application Backup instance, it turns to the Deleting status. If one tries to check this Application Backup instance once again and perform the deletion operation, the Resource Usage will be counted incorrectly, though the deletion operation will not be broken.

Resolution

Do not try to remove the Application Backup instance which is already has the Deleting status.

Creation of Service User for Open-Xchange in

CP is not synchronized with actual registration

process

Symptoms

Open-Xchange > Service Users tab, when registering new Service User, its status changes to Ready earlier than actual registration process finishes. One cannot login to MyCP using credentials of such a Service User.

Resolution

You should wait about ten minutes before trying to log in to MyCP.

The link of the Application in the

Unprovisioning status is active and can be

Symptoms

In CCP > Hosting > Configuration & Administration > Applications, when uninstalling an Application, its status changes to Unprovisioning, though the link to this Application is active. If Customer tries to click this link, an error message is shown.

Resolution

Do not try to click the link of the Application in the Unprovisioning status.

The newly created Open-Xchange Organization

Administrator does not have access to mail

service

Symptoms

The newly created Open-Xchange Organization Administrator does not have access to mail service.

Resolution

No resolution yet.

Open-Xchange does not support MS Exchange

Mailboxes

Symptoms

If a Service User has the Open-Xchange and MS Exchange Services, the Mail item will be unavailable in the Open-Xchange UI.

Symptoms

When trying to log in to Open-Xchnage (ether from CCP or from MyCP) a Customer clicks the entry point link several times. If a Customer will try to log out from Open-Xchange, the logout will not succeed with the first attempt.
