A High Resolution Video Server (Codec) unit for converting analogue equipment to IP. Works with any analogue device with a

video or audio output! Supplied with free 64 device recording and playback software for Windows PCs. A quick and easy way

to upgrade your existing CCTV cameras to IP! Even works with Speed Domes, adding full web based remote control of pan, tilt

and zoom. Main features include:

• Excellent 704x576 D1 picture quality

• View and hear analogue CCTV cameras and DVRs remotely from anywhere in the world using a PC, Mac or Mobile Phone

• Make recordings directly on to the Video Server by inserting a Micro SD Card into it, then log in remotely to play them back

Excellent Network Performance:

The Video Server uses H264 compression to create efficient video streams that can be accessed over the local network or the internet without requiring large amounts of bandwidth. Resulting in a better picture quality and higher refresh rates than MJPEG and MPEG4 based Video Servers.

Speed Dome & Pan, Tilt, Zoom Camera Support:

The Video Server has an RS485 port for connecting to Pelco D/P compatible cameras that feature Pan/Tilt/Zoom functionality.

The Pan/Tilt/Zoom function of these cameras can be controlled through the web browser or using the free Multi Camera/Device Software supplied

PC free operation:

The Video Server does not need to be connected to a PC to operate, it can connect directly to a wired or wireless network or internet connection.

Network/Internet free operation:

The Video Server does not need to be connected to a Network/Internet connection to record video and audio. Simply pop in a Micro SD memory card, use a PC/Mac to set up the Video Server and then leave it plugged in to the mains.

When connected to a local network or an internet connection the cameras can be accessed remotely by a:

Intelligent Motion Detection:

The Video Server has built in intelligent motion detection, the Video Server will detect movement from 10 different zones and will allow you to specify the size of object it is looking for (eliminating any chance of false alarms).

When it detects motion the Video Server can respond in the following ways:

Send an Email Alert with video or snapshots of the image that triggered the motion detection

- z

Sound an Alarm if speakers are connected

- z

Record directly on to a Micro SD Card

- z

Send images via FTP

- z

Send images via HTTP

- z

Send images to a SAMBA server

- z

Trigger the Alarm Output and any equipment connected to it, for example a Siren or Light Switch (additional relays etc... may be required for this function)

- z

Move a Speed Dome or Pan Tilt Zoom camera, if connected, to a preset position, or start a Guard Tour

Email Alerts:

The Video Server features Email Alerts, these are sent to the email address of your choice whenever the Video Server detects movement, along with a video or snapshot of what triggered the detection.

This is a great function for being alerted of any intruders at your premises whilst you are away.

Alarm (Voice Alert):

When speakers are connected to the Video Server the Video Server will make an Alarm noise through the speakers, to scare of intruders and let passers know that an intrusion is taking place.

Microphone/Audio Input:

The Video Server has a built in microphone/audio input for recording and monitoring sound from the analogue device connected or a microphone

2 Way Audio Communication:

When speakers are connected to the Video Server it is possible to have a 2 way conversation from your Windows PC with someone that is near the Video Server.

This function can be used to verify who people are, to warn of intruders or simply to have a conversation with staff or family.

Multiple Users:

The Video Server supports multiple users with different rights, so you can setup Administrators who can change the Video Server settings and playback recordings and Guests who can view only.

Industrial Grade Access Security:

Password Protection -To access the Video Server a user name and password is required, this ensures that your Video Server is secure and can be accessed by authorised users only.

IP Filtering - It is also possible to specify which IP addresses are allowed to access the Video Server, further increasing the security of the Video Server.

Multi Camera Software:

If you require permanent recording or want to record and view multiple Xvision X100 range IP cameras and video servers from a single PC, free Windows Multi Camera/Device Software is provided. This software offers:
