@students.uni-marburg
address
– check your mail regularly or have it forwarded to an account you
do check
– the Marburg email will no longer work after you graduate, so we
also need your private address to be able to contact you in the
future

Studien- und Prüfungsordnung –
Rules and Regulations of the course of study
• every course of study has a
Studien- und Prüfungsordnung (StPO)
• when a StPO is changed it only affects
new students, you keep the one you
enrolled under
• it regulates aspects from course content
to how to write your M.A. thesis!
• every StPO is available online:
http://www.uni-marburg.de/administration/amtlich/94_2010.pdf
5
Possible problems and errors
rule of thumb:
• errors do not correct themselves!
• if something does not work, take action immediately!
• too late is too late!
6
Table of Modules – Modulkonkordanz
• a list of all examinations (written exam, oral presentation, online
project &c.) of a course of study
• useful tool to navigate between the Studienordnung and the online
grade database (HIS-POS)
• the Table of Modules for the M.
A. Linguistics and Web Technology
is online at:
http://www.uni-marburg.de/fb10/pruefamt/Formulare/konkordanzmalwt.pdf
• makes communication about examinations unambiguous
• does not refer to seminars or seminar-codes
