While Cloud based

ERP systems

can drive huge

business benefits,

on-premise based

ERP Solutions can

still provide many

benefits for your

specific needs.

So, what is “the

cloud” exactly?

Cloud computing is the method a service provider uses to deliver software

applications to the end user’s desktop over the internet. It eliminates the need to

purchase hardware, software and the staff it takes to

support it.

Currently all Microsoft®

Dynamics products (including GP & NAV) are only hosted through a hosting partner.

Microsoft® CRM Online is the

only Dynamics product that is 100% hosted by Microsoft®.

The other Dynamics products will eventually get there but there are no exact dates on when that will be released. Onza365 customers

are currently using two fantastic hosting partners and would be happy to set up a 30 day free trial for you!

The cloud solution is often the best fit for companies that:

• Need to support a remote workforce

• Want to test new

geographic territories with low risk

• Have hardware that needs to be replaced

• Have lapsed software license fees

• Need to comply with regulatory requirements • Need automatic backups &

disaster recovery • Are looking for

opportunities to reduce expenses

• Don’t want to employ an internal IT resource

Customers may prefer a traditional on-premise application if they:

• Have unique security or integration requirements • Need extensive customization • Have recently purchased

new hardware that is not yet fully depreciated

But is the cloud right for us?

What will change if we move to the cloud?

The only change will be how you (and your employees) log on to your Microsoft®

Dynamics application.  If you are in a hosted environment, they access the application through Citrix.

Does the cloud work for my market?   Cloud implementations can be effective for all market verticals. The benefits and trade-offs for Cloud-based ERP are much more specific to your business requirements. What does it take to move our current in house systems to the cloud?

In the Cloud, you always retain full ownership of your data. Our hosting provides ensure that your data is kept secure while maintaining regular backups. What is the cost comparison between on premise and Cloud?

You can do some cost comparison analysis using one of our hosting partner’s online tool:

myappsanywhere.com/savings

Also, give us a call or email and we can create a customized option plan for you (with costs).

Is my data safe in the cloud?    Many companies feel their data is more secure where they can “see” it in their own office but the security in these data centers are state of the art and are monitored very carefully 24/7. The hosting environment is reliable and can deliver consistent response times.  We have many third party solution integrated with our ERP; can we use the cloud products?

Our hosting partners have an office seal of approval for ISV’s certified products. This certification is a software product test for ISV solutions that integrate with Microsoft®

Dynamics, CRM, Exchange and SharePoint products.  The goal of the certification is to provide assurance that the ISV application functions properly in the cloud/hosted environment.  Current testing is nearing 30 ISVs and the expected number for early 2012 is 60 ISVs.

We have quite a few

customizations in our ERP systems; can we use the cloud products?

Cloud/hosting Microsoft® Dynamics

GP & NAV can accommodate many customizations. The Onza365 team can provide you more information on your specific requirements and customizations.

Microsoft cloud services mean freedom for

businesses. The freedom to access the technology you want, whereand when you want it. The freedom to take advantageof the

latest technology as a capital expense, or anoperational one. The freedom to focus on running yourbusiness—not running IT systems.

Microsoft cloud services are Microsoft by extension:Giving you the ability to make full use of the sameMicrosoft technologies you already know and trust,on a pay-as-you-go model. For a single departmentor an entire global organization. On-premises, off-premises,or a combination of both, depending onyour business needs.

Microsoftcloud services are Microsoftas a utility, but it is more than plugging into a utility. It’s the applications you know, the platforms you know, and a data center infrastructure—all working together in a cohesivewhole. It’s Microsoftwhen you need it. Microsofton your terms.
