Film industry is one of the most prospective cultural business sectors and attracts much of public attention. However, investment on individual film titles is notorious for its high risk level, which has raised the necessity of research on the influential factors for box office revenue. Despite of abundant extant studies, those attempts have been mostly limited to a certain kind of factors and the competitive environment is even hardly explored. In this regard, we investigate the significance and relative contribution of a wide variety of possible influential factors including distribution power and competition. In this study, we devised various new variables to reflect competition environment and categorized independent variables into several groups in order to compare their influences. Results showed that all various information reflected in four variable groups contribute to box office revenue in both estimation and forecasting. Between mathematical models, SVM models exhibit better result than linear models as expected. Regarding competition variables, the number of competitors is found to be more effective compared to their distribution power.

There are three kinds of agents implemented to war-game simulation. At first, a battlefield agent is established. The battlefield agent has several variables such as battlefield environment, cell- based terrain, altitude, topography type, etc., Secondly, a unit agent is used to describe to act on the battlefield: the unit agent refers to all agents operating in the battlefield. For example, in this war-game model, the unit agent is represented by tank, UGV, and C2. Finally, we use the sub-agent which constitutes the unit agent. The sub-agent is created to assist the function of the unit agent. For example, in case of tanks, they have many function based actions such as maneuvering, detecting, and shooting, etc.... And all unit agents have their own rules that are automatically activated in the battlefield agent.
Abstract: Providing the safety on the roads on the most valuable task. It is time and money-consuming task on winter season to clean and melt iced and snowed roads. Currently, melting snow in roads use salt, that cause of corrosion infrastructure and vehicles, and elevated sodium levels in water. Putting heating cables or pipes are much better on this content, but energy consumption of this system very high since no accurate ice sensors, algorithms, and centralized real time control systems. On our research there built Snow Melting System for Smart residential districts. This system manages the iced road conditions, using installed sensors, forecasts and other road and weather related sources. On this research there were built IoT based Snow Melting environment, to research the environment there created local wireless sensors network on the 802.11n, also gateway built on Raspberry Pi, which operates group of nodes on the defined local area. Sensor nodes gather weather information such as air temperature, air humidity, ground temperature, ground humidity, wind, and send to middleware through gateways with MQTT protocol .
The development of brilliant scientific civilization has made it possible to improve the quality of our lives and to live a convenient and enriching life. In the medical service environment, state-of-the-art medical systems such as EMR, PASS system, and remote robot operation utilizing IT and state-of-the- art technologies have been constructed and utilized . However, despite the fact that medical treatment is applied to the most advanced medical care, medical accidents continue to increase. In particular, various medical advertisements through on-line have some merit to provide medical service information to medical consumers. However, it is a disincentive to medical consumers' wise choice. However, the general public is less informed and informed about medical care than medical specialists, and it is not easy to judge and select medical information. Also, if someone damaged by illegal medical advertising, it cannot be recovered to the original. Also, it is not possible to treat the commercial advertisement with the strong commercial nature and the medical advertisement with the strong public interest equally. Therefore, it is necessary to regulate the medical advertisement so as not to damage the publicity while guaranteeing medical advertisement.

we divided the usability test process into 6 steps. First, we defined a usability testing environment and defined the goals of the test. Our usability testing environment was chosen to test and run the actual blocks in a typical home. The goal of the test was to assess how well students are using Liblo. Second, we selected usability test participants as a group of boys aged 10 to 15, the main users of the Liblo. We use both methods to interview students and observe task performance because it is difficult for boys aged 10 to 15 to provide feedback directly to the block design. Third, we structured the question into three sessions and created a question guide. Table 2 shows the question guide used in the usability test. Fourth, we visited the student's home and conducted a usability test. The usability test time was 2 hours considering the time students could concentrate on. All the usability tests were recorded with a digital camera. Figure 2 shows the usability testing environment of Liblo. Fifth, we conducted an internal workshop within 24 hours and shared opinion on design feedback derived from the usability test.
Healthcare industry in Korea is under competitive environment which lead hospital’s conative managerial strategy to survive. In that Korean hospitals start to set one’s primary object to patient’s healthcare service satisfaction ,,. Without different view, a hospital’s goal is curing disease. However, beside the goal in the process of curing, there could be various competitive service factors such as kindness of nurse and doctors, time of each process, and waiting time which will be discussed in this research. Especially treatment time and waiting time is recognized to major factors for patient’s service satisfaction because patients are under mentally negative circumstance waiting different to waiting customer in other industries such as theater waiting customer or restaurant .
Today, a variety of social robots capable of interacting and communicating with humans has begun to emerge. Existing social robots mainly utilize a voice and/or a small screen for emotionally interacting with humans despite many possibilities of physically expressing emotional motion. Thus, this research aims to build methods for emotional motion prototyping and create a prototype of a social robot based on the kinematics of the Delta robot. For this research, literature related to emotional motions of social robots and humans is explored, and emotional motions of humans is categorized based on six basic human emotions in order to analyze existing social robots. Moreover, through analyzing the cases, we propose methods for emotional motion prototyping. Based on these, a prototype of a social robot is developed based on the kinematics of a Delta robot and is tested. In this paper, we present ways to create emotional motions of social robots and experimental experience of a prototype of a Delta-robot-based social robot. Further work in this research is to develop an actual social robot based on the prototype.

It is possible to record various kinds of learning materials to help understanding the contents presented in the curriculum without limitation of quantity. Also storing all the contents in one digital device enhances portability and enables learners to carry lightly instead of heavy bags and to make learning convenient anytime and anywhere. In addition, experiments that learners are dangerous to do or it takes a long time in physical environment can be provided on DT in the type of simulation. Interactive function of DT using networks also may enhance learning by facilitating interactions among learners or between teachers and learners [2, 3]. Learners with DT can study at anywhere and anytime with own learning rate and go to school without heavy textbooks.

In this study, we developed an educational program using the Arduino device to integrate the teaching of physical computing in the 2015 revised national curriculum. The developed educational program was applied on high school students, and its effects on the students and these students’ opinions were obtained. Several conclusions may be drawn from the results. First, the Arduino-based education program was not effective in improving the creative problem-solving skills of high school students. In contrast to previous studies, this study found no difference in the students’ creative problem-solving abilities before and after the Arduino class. Second, the students were interested in and felt a sense of accomplishment in participating in the Arduino-based education program. However, in the physical computing education program, they encountered difficulty with design and debugging. Finally, appropriate teaching–learning methods, educational tools, and activity designs need to be developed for the program to be effective for high school students. Teachers can provide effective physical computing education by considering these factors vis-à-vis with the school environment and the students’ learning level.

In addition, Digital Actor’s figuration or motion is realized with digital information, which facilitates video contents’ production and further, it promotes production of various video contents. As Digital Actor’s figuration information, shape image and motion video are separately created for different life cycle stage, a certain Digital Actor can be realized in various age ranges within video contents and with Digital Actor’s life history being set, figure information can be expansively utilized. As aforementioned that could be supplement weak points that existing Digital Actor realizing methods had in creating variations from a single Digital Actor. If there should work again to apply Digital Actor through life cycle created for Digital Games to 3D Animations, the process can be simplified with the proposed MDE Tool. Digital Actor applicated in this study have limitations in performing only the roles assigned to each digital content. To overcome these limitations and to broaden their application, further studies needed. Further studies for additional Digital Actor operation would be conducted as to a system where direct interaction can be made with user by expanding the scope of digital video contents that can utilize Digital Actor to UI (User Interface) format on which AI (Artificial Intelligence) is applied.
The study  examines and classifies the behavior pattern of the elderly and presents their monitoring methods in three representative approaches based on (1) video-based analysis, (2) acoustic and ambience sensor, and (3) kinematic sensor. The first focuses on computer vision and video analytics based technologies. This technology has the disadvantage that the camera should be fixed at a certain position in the usual place, it is rather expensive, and it can be used only indoors. This is because a camera network and a computer dedicated to data processing are required. Second, since vibration and sound sensor data are used to detect the vibration, the use environment is restricted to the room and the noise received from the sensor may deteriorate, which is not effective in a normal residential environment. A third approach is to use an accelerometer or gyroscope. Since the signal is captured from the sensor worn on the body of the subject, there is an advantage that it can be freely applied indoors and outdoors.
As Wing's first definition of computational thinking, we can solve the problems that we face and design the system though computational thinking, and Computational thinking is the way to understand human behavior by using basic concepts of computing . Computational thinking is a type of analytical thinking. It uses mathematical thinking, engineering thinking, and scientific thinking in the general way. Computational thinking is not only for computer scientists, but also for everyone. The study of computational thinking makes it better for all students in the virtual and real world to make a concept of problems and analyze and solve them by selecting and applying proper strategies and tools . Research has been conducted in a variety of ways to facilitate the development of computational thinking for young children. There have been studies showing that 4-year-olds children can understand basic computer programming concepts and can construct simple robots [2, 20, 21]. Bers(2010) tried to cultivate the computational thinking of young children through the process of arranging physical objects in a tangible language and connecting them to computers, rather than relying on pictures and words on the computer screen. Also, using educational robots letting young children predict where the small robots will go and move the robots, it can present interesting problems for young children. Educational robots can also be used for young children. It can be presented interesting problems for young children by allowing young children to predict where the small robots will go and to move the robots. A series of processes that determine what commands to give the robot are introduced as “concrete programming” .
The simulation results obtained are mean- ingful, but we cannot guarantee that the proposed schemes can be applied immediately in a real envi- ronment. In particular, the optimization point should be determined by the type of MTC and traf- fic characteristics to which the proposed scheme applies. In order to increase the applicability to the real environment, it is necessary to study how to apply the proposed schemes under various network structures. In this regard, future studies will exam- ine the effectiveness of the proposed mechanism in a heterogeneous network (HetNet) environment. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Motivated by the importance of energy efficiency on mobile devices while delivering high service quality in DaaS, in this paper, we propose a desktop delivery scheme that takes into account both QoE in view of display quality and energy consumption on mobile devices. In our scheme, VNC module and MJPEG module of the hybrid remote display protocol (HRDP) are reasonably adopted. To achieve energy efficiency, the strategy is to lower the CPU load or to keep higher CPU idle rate of mobile devices. First, for each module of the HRDP, we do some experiments to quantify the display quality and the client CPU idle rate in terms of display updates, which represent different types of service requirement. Based on the derived results, an energy-efficient QoE-aware desktop delivery scheme has been developed. VNC module has the benefit of low client CPU resource consumption while MJPEG module can ensure display quality for high-motion display updates. To select the best module to encode each block, the proposed scheme calculates a utility function, which determines the tradeoff between the display quality and the client CPU idle rate. The utility function is adaptive to the battery level of mobile devices. Specifically, the proposed scheme keeps track of battery level of mobile devices. When the battery becomes low, the proposed scheme can have a bias towards client CPU idle rate to conserve power on the device. Simulation results show that our scheme is more energy efficient than some existing solutions. Moreover, the energy saving is achieved while good display quality is still guaranteed.

In this paper, we propose a moving object detection method which can give warning to drivers and then help to prevent possible traffic accidents. The proposed method is designed to detect moving objects in both situations when host vehicle is stopping (static scene) and when it is slowly driving (dynamic scene). These situations occur alternately in parking lots. The proposed moving object detection method consists mainly of optical flow estimation, background modeling and clustering steps. Amplitude of motion vector is calculated from optical flow technique and used for background modeling. In order to apply effectively background subtraction to motion vectors, we propose a cell based background modeling which accumulates the amplitudes of every vector within a cell and up-dates adaptive threshold value to classify the given vectors into foreground and background. Four different optical flow estimation techniques are considered. Various cell sizes including 1X1, 4X4, 10X10 and 40X40 are applied. The simulations on four kinds of dynamic scenes and three static scenes show that the proposed method achieves good enough moving object detection performances.
