A Review on the Performance Analysis of VCR System Using Nanorefrigerants

A Review on the Performance Analysis of VCR System Using Nanorefrigerants

However, because of the awareness of ozone layer depleting effects of chlorine, people slowly moved on to another alternative which is the hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) and hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) refrigerants. HCFC and HFC refrigerants are not miscible with mineral oil, this will disturb the performance of the refrigeration system. Synthetic lubricants like Polyalkylene glycol (PAG), polyol ester (POE), alkyl benzene (AB) are normally used together with HFC and HCFC refrigerants [21]. PAGs are extensively used in automotive applications using HCFC- based refrigerants. In HFC refrigerants like R-134a and HFC-based refrigerants, ester based oils like POE are normally used. Polyol ester (POE) oil, another type of lubricant oil used in refrigeration systems, is favoured over mineral oil for use in oil applications because of its solid chemical polarity and solubility with refrigerant. Similarly, the utilization of nanoparticles in the lubricants for compressors increases the system's efficiency and performance, causing no choking in the system [22].

In Job Analysis research uses two indicators which consist of Job Description and Job Specification influencing employee performance. Job Description has a significant positive effect on Process Performance, which means that if the job description that contains the authority, responsibility, work conditions, work facilities, and work standard results will increase responsiveness, responsibility, accountability, adaptability. Job descriptions have been able to cover process-oriented performance. Job Specification has a significant positive effect on Output Performance, which means that job requirements such as education, training and enhanced competency will increase effectiveness, productivity, efficiency, satisfaction and fairness. Current job requirements can back up output performance (Giyarto, 2015). The establishment of CV. Zazil Bakery still uses traditional ways of placing employees in work positions, in order to achieve the performance of good employees, the leadership of CV. Zazil Bakery uses the Job Analysis method The selection of a particular method must be based on the objectives of the use of information (job evaluation, increase in fees, development and some of it) and the most suitable approach for the company. knowledge of the performance of these dryers at different solar radiation levels and ambient conditions. Hence it is necessary to conduct a proper analysis of the performance of dryers before deciding on the investment. Solar air heaters are basically classified as porous and non porous types. (Bansal et al. [1984a]). But still non-porous collectors are preferred due to other advantages like low cost, non-contamination, lesser pressure drop etc. Non- porous collectors use an absorber plate that absorbs the radiation and this heat is removed by convectional means by the air.

The Effect of Electronic Procurement on the Performance of Car Parts Supply Chain Companies

The Effect of Electronic Procurement on the Performance of Car Parts Supply Chain Companies

In this study, in which the performance of e procurement on supply chain is investigated, integration has a mediation role. Companies can use different ways to find out sources. Between these ways, integration is the most important one (sabidussi et al, 2014, p: 19). Integration of supply chain in a systematic manner leads to harmony in resources and facilities of each partner in supply chain in order to increase performance in decrease total expenses (huang, 2014, p: 66). Integration is the extent to which a company has strategic cooperation with its partners in inside and outside company procedures (mackelprang et al, 2014, p: 72). The application of electronic procurement in the structure of supply chain integration (sci) via improvement of speed and potential precision of communication in all available networks in the chain, causes improvement in performance and a better harmony in the activities (omai, 2013, p: 408). Electronic procurement with integration of supply chain has some reasons: Electronic procurement systems can prepare chances for investment in order to be in accordance with company’s partners. As an example, previous researches have shown that with information technology we can improve joint planning. It means that cooperation between the company and its partners can improve significantly through electronic procurement. So it is expected that integration of supply chain can improve via use of electronic procurement (Chang et al, 2013, p: 36). Below:

A Multimodal Approach to Improve the Performa...

A Multimodal Approach to Improve the Performa...

Biometric systems automatically recognize an individual based on physiological and behavioural characteristics. There are also some traits like weight, age, height etc. that may not provide reliable user recognition because of its common and temporary nature. These traits are called soft biometric traits. Although soft biometric traits are lack of permanence to uniquely and reliably identify an individual, yet they provide some beneficial evidence about the user identity and may improve the system performance. Here in this paper, we have proposed an approach for integrating the soft biometrics with fingerprint and face to improve the performance of personal authentication system. In our approach, we have proposed a combined architecture of three different sensors to elevate the system performance. The approach includes, soft biometrics, fingerprint and face traits. We have also proven the efficiency of proposed system regarding FAR (False Acceptance Ratio) and total response time, with the help of MUBI (Multimodal Biometrics Integration) software.

The Effect of Performance Management on the Organizational Performance Empirical Study at Sukabumi Service Tax Office

The Effect of Performance Management on the Organizational Performance Empirical Study at Sukabumi Service Tax Office

Before the development of the concept of reinventing government , management of the performance of public organizations prioritized control through regulations and procedures (Ter Bogt, 2003, in Verbateen, 2008). Changes in the pattern of performance control eventually shifted to performance measurement based on output or outcome from an activity or program. For example, from the amount of education funds disbursed, it can be seen how many schools get the funding and the allocation of activities. There is a demand for accountability in the public institution sector for the resulting performance, making the implementation of performance management practices develop. Determination of performance indicators and the existence of a performance measurement process marks the implementation of performance management in public institutions.

The Environmental Performance Evaluation of Ahwaz Pipe Manufacturing Company within the Environmental Management System

The Environmental Performance Evaluation of Ahwaz Pipe Manufacturing Company within the Environmental Management System

ISO 14001 global standard is considered as the main reference measure for environmental management system evaluations and it is done for the establishment and the creation of the environmental coordinated management system in an organization and it enables the organization to reach the level of performance which is set by the organization itself and the organization can systematically control it. This standard entails requirements in order to develop and implement an environmental management system to be able to improve the organization’s environmental performance and function. Since the establishment of such a system brings about many advantages for the organization the performance evaluation and the study of the weak and strong points for the organization’s environmental management system performance improvement is one of the fundamental premises of the system. This study has been undertaken for the purpose of environmental management system performance evaluation and the survey of the effectiveness of the ISO 14001 standard in the Ahwaz Pipe manufacturing company. In the present study it was made use of FAHP method to design the organization’s environmental performance evaluations in order for the standard to be upgraded in the organization. Then, the weighting and the ranking of the criteria has been done by the use of FAHP method and by taking advantage of Excel software and the performance score of the current situation of the criteria and the indices in the organization has been determined based on the Likert criterion and eventually for the standardization and the determination of the status quo the importance/performance analytical model (IPA) in relation to the determination of the company’s performance status was used. And based on the obtained results it becomes clear that the implementation and operation criteria are of the maximum significance and importance, followed by, respectively, planning and survey and policy in the second to the fourth ranks and the company should try to do its best to focus greatly on the criterion of “environmental objectives and programs”, the criterion of “staff members awareness of the EMS” and the criterion of urgency conditions management”. Also, it is suggested that in order to improve the environmental performance the company should concentrate on the high-importance criteria having low performance value and the low-importance criteria with high performance qualities.

INFLUENCE OF BUSINESS PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS AND CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY CONCEPT TO OVERAL BUSINESS PERFORMANCE: “SAVE THE PLANET AND KEEP YOUR PERFORMANCE”

INFLUENCE OF BUSINESS PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS AND CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY CONCEPT TO OVERAL BUSINESS PERFORMANCE: “SAVE THE PLANET AND KEEP YOUR PERFORMANCE”

If we are talking about the need and ability of the system to adapt and operate in the long term period with the orientation of economic, environmental and social performance of enterprise, we refer to a corporate sustainability performance measurement system (Searcy, 2012). According to Maletic et al. (2015) it seems that it exists some support for existence of a business case for corporate sustainability. Using Tobin´s q was founded that corporate sustainability is strongly associated with market value (Lo & Sheu, 2007, p. 355); the greater engagement in sustainability activities can lead to a greater innovation, which in turn leads to greater fi nancial and market performance (Maletic et al., 2015). On the other hand, the analysis of link between corporate social responsibility (in our view a narrower concept as corporate sustainability) and the performance indicators showed that the link between these variables is negative. These results cover this effect only during the fi rst years in which sustainability actions are applied. It will be necessary to examine a longer time period (López et al., 2007). All of these authors state that in the research it is still necessary to provide a clearer understanding. The aim of this paper is to identify the relationship between selected management tools and concepts of various development phases of strategic performance measurement systems to overall business performance measured by indicator ROE. Similarly the aim is to identify the relationship between the sustainability index and indicator ROE as a key aspect in terms of the current extremely advancing climate crisis.

the Besharat and Shamsipour (2006), Rahbary and Abdolmaleki (2009) and Bakhshy (2008). All of these studies suggest that emotional intelligence should be a criterion to determine the performance and academic abilities considered. One of the reasons over the concept of emotional intelligence in context studies related to operation and students’ progress there’s findings that cognitive intelligence alone cannot as it should be determining students’ educational performance. But another explanation that cans the importance of emotional intelligence and even its superiority cognitive intelligence the performance prediction and academic abilities Justify The social aspect of it is. Indeed you should know that each person in a context and social context Lives and it cannot be in way from this perspective, he said. Indeed our social environment full of events and events that need adjustment and compliance with these conditions. Upon review the relationship between personality characteristics with academic capabilities in this study, it was found that extraversion, openness, conscience and compatibility and academic performance there is a significant positive relationship. As well as between neurosis and academic performance is a significant relationship. As well as regression analysis predict revealed neurosis, openness, conscience can academic perfor mance. These findings is consistent you can Chamuz studies, Permuzyk and Farnham, 2003, Ahmadi (2008). In the explaining the above results is broadly speaking should be considered the personality characteristics infrastructure behavioral system of individuals sand determining factor on the how to identify and interpret surroundings. Employee performance in the knowledge economy: Capturing the keys to success

Employee performance in the knowledge economy: Capturing the keys to success

Abstract: The present study examines the key determinants of employee performance in a knowledge-intensive service fi rm located in the UK. Using data from a pilot study, we mapped eight performance-related behaviors to two measures of global performance to isolate the strongest predictors of the latter. We also examined the degree to which these associations varied depending on whether employees or their managers reported on performance as well as according to the degree of complexity (eg, ongoing learning, multitasking, problem solving, etc.) present in workers’ jobs. Findings revealed that more traditional employee performance- related behaviors (eg, dependability) as well as behaviors that have likely increased in importance in the knowledge economy (eg, sharing ideas and information) accounted for the most variance in reported global performance. Sharing ideas and information was a particularly important predictor for workers in complex jobs. When the performance-related behaviors were regressed on the organization’s annual employee appraisal ratings, only dependability and time management behaviors were signifi cantly associated with the outcome. As organizational success increasingly is dependent on intangible inputs stemming from the ideas, innovations and creativity of its workforce, organizations need to ensure that they are capturing the full range of behaviors that help to defi ne their success. Further research with a diverse range of organizations will help defi ne this further.

The Impacts of Poor Drainage on Road Performance in Khartoum

The Impacts of Poor Drainage on Road Performance in Khartoum

fatigue cracking. It was noted that these factors should be carefully considered during the design phase of flexible pavements. NCHRP [4] stated that another key factor in the performance of subsurface drainage was whether edge drain outlet pipes were clogged. Clogged outlet pipes were found to have a detrimental effect on the performance of flexible pavements. Clogged outlets led to increase fatigue cracking and rutting and could lead to stripping. In addition, permeable base sections were found to have better fatigue performance than all other types of evaluated pavement sections. However, there was not a significant difference in the rutting performance of permeable base sections and other sections. Markow [5] developed a predictive model of pavement performance that includes the effect of moisture on pavement materials properties and the quality of the subsurface drainage. In this model, the duration of pavement wetness is first estimated taking climatic conditions as well as drainage into account. Then, assuming the pavement system has a 50% reduction in strength when wet.
