Synthetic lubricants like Polyalkylene glycol (PAG), polyol ester (POE), alkyl benzene (AB) are normally used together with HFC and HCFC refrigerants . PAGs are extensively used in automotive applications using HCFC- based refrigerants. In HFC refrigerants like R-134a and HFC-based refrigerants, ester based oils like POE are normally used. Polyol ester (POE) oil, another type of lubricant oil used in refrigeration systems, is favoured over mineral oil for use in oil applications because of its solid chemical polarity and solubility with refrigerant. Similarly, the utilization of nanoparticles in the lubricants for compressors increases the system's efficiency and performance, causing no choking in the system .
Descriptively, the prebiotic treatment of sweet potato extract in synbiotics gave better performance on absolute weight growth, daily growth rate, survival rate, and vanamei shrimp feed conversion ratio compared to control treatment. In addition, the results of research by Mustafa (2017) showed that feeding with sweet potato prebiotics contributed significantly to the activity of amylase enzymes, carbohydrate digestibility and vanamei shrimp digestibility. Based on the results of these studies, it is necessary to conduct further research on the utilization of sweet potato as a prebiotic on the performance of Lactobacillus sp. in the digestive tract of shrimp vanamei. Biometric systems automatically recognize an individual based on physiological and behavioural characteristics. There are also some traits like weight, age, height etc. that may not provide reliable user recognition because of its common and temporary nature. These traits are called soft biometric traits. Although soft biometric traits are lack of permanence to uniquely and reliably identify an individual, yet they provide some beneficial evidence about the user identity and may improve the system performance. Here in this paper, we have proposed an approach for integrating the soft biometrics with fingerprint and face to improve the performance of personal authentication system. In our approach, we have proposed a combined architecture of three different sensors to elevate the system performance. The approach includes, soft biometrics, fingerprint and face traits. We have also proven the efficiency of proposed system regarding FAR (False Acceptance Ratio) and total response time, with the help of MUBI (Multimodal Biometrics Integration) software.

This study has been undertaken for the purpose of environmental management system performance evaluation and the survey of the effectiveness of the ISO 14001 standard in the Ahwaz Pipe manufacturing company. In the present study it was made use of FAHP method to design the organization’s environmental performance evaluations in order for the standard to be upgraded in the organization. Then, the weighting and the ranking of the criteria has been done by the use of FAHP method and by taking advantage of Excel software and the performance score of the current situation of the criteria and the indices in the organization has been determined based on the Likert criterion and eventually for the standardization and the determination of the status quo the importance/performance analytical model (IPA) in relation to the determination of the company’s performance status was used. And based on the obtained results it becomes clear that the implementation and operation criteria are of the maximum significance and importance, followed by, respectively, planning and survey and policy in the second to the fourth ranks and the company should try to do its best to focus greatly on the criterion of “environmental objectives and programs”, the criterion of “staff members awareness of the EMS” and the criterion of urgency conditions management”. Abstract: The present study examines the key determinants of employee performance in a knowledge-intensive service ﬁ rm located in the UK. Using data from a pilot study, we mapped eight performance-related behaviors to two measures of global performance to isolate the strongest predictors of the latter. We also examined the degree to which these associations varied depending on whether employees or their managers reported on performance as well as according to the degree of complexity (eg, ongoing learning, multitasking, problem solving, etc.) present in workers’ jobs. Findings revealed that more traditional employee performance- related behaviors (eg, dependability) as well as behaviors that have likely increased in importance in the knowledge economy (eg, sharing ideas and information) accounted for the most variance in reported global performance. Sharing ideas and information was a particularly important predictor for workers in complex jobs. When the performance-related behaviors were regressed on the organization’s annual employee appraisal ratings, only dependability and time management behaviors were signiﬁ cantly associated with the outcome. As organizational success increasingly is dependent on intangible inputs stemming from the ideas, innovations and creativity of its workforce, organizations need to ensure that they are capturing the full range of behaviors that help to deﬁ ne their success.
