At the start of 2016, the regulated ratios in centre-based care of educators to children over 24 months and less than 36 months (toddlers) will change to 1:5, from the current 1:8. This course is designed to help participants think through strategies to deal with the ratio changes such as staffing restructuring, fee increases (where needed), rostering of educators, etc. Participants will come away with an individualised plan of how to move towards and implement the revised ratios within their service.
