7.2 LOG PRINTER

7.2.3 Log Printer Format Type 2

Log Printer Format Type 2 is a format designed to allow easy parsing of data by those PSAPs who choose to replace their hardcopy printers with data collection applications. The data is printed in a single line of unformatted data terminated by a carriage return and line feed, with each field of data separated by a vertical bar character (|). The fields transmitted are in a specific order.
