LCD Settings

In addition to the status icons, the printer settings and functions can be displayed on the LCD screen. The scroll and select key will allow you to view the settings for the Printer and Network. The Display option allows you to view and modify some of the settings. All other settings cannot be changed directly on the printer. Setting changes must be completed in the Label Vista™ program:

Note: Label Vista is free software for designing labels for CPCL-

compatible Zebra mobile or Comtec mobile printers. Label Vista combines an intuitive graphically-based user

environment with powerful but easily mastered editing tools. Label Vista also allows the easy creation of format files that remain resident in the printer, for simple merges with variable data files sent from the host, effective for printing labels that have a mixture of constant and variable data fields.

print, or no print Clean print head, check for paper jams, check paper alignment, confirm paper compartment is closed, or check baud rate.

Mobile Printer Preventive Maintenance

It is important to periodically perform routine cleaning and maintenance to keep your printer in good working condition. Many of the printer parts, such as the print head, platen roller, peal bar, scraper, and tear bar, can be cleaned using a cotton swab saturated with alcohol. The exterior can be cleaned using a warm, damp cloth. For the interior, use a brush or compressed air to remove dust from the sensors.
