2015-12-03
BASiC President
• We will present a plan regarding the Arts & Science Lounge to Assembly at the beginning of next
semester
• Creating a selection committee for Chief Electoral Officer for BASiC
- Esther is the exec who will lead the committee
- Departments to discuss with their groups to see who is eligible (graduating and no longer able to run for a position) and interested to be on the committee
♦ Contact Esther
♦ Matt will be on the committee
- We have 3-4 responses for people interested in being CEO at this point
• Survey will go out in the listserv question to guage Arts & Science students insight on different
issues regarding students space, the program, BASiC, etc.
- Questions will be similar to what we had 3 years ago so we will be able to compare answers
• Arts & Science Lounge
- Will have 5 year proposal at the first Assembly of the Winter Semester
BASiC VP Internal
• Semi-formal
- Successful event, could have had more people (we had around 90) but who was there went well, and the numbers worked
- Will add lessons learned and tips for next year into mid-year and exit reports • Next semester events:
- Collaborating with MBSU on at least two things: ♦ Formal, Fri Feb 12th on Darwin Day/BAE-SiC ♦ Apartment Crawl
- Alumni Wine & Cheese Event ♦ Same time as grad events ♦ 10 year Anniversary of BA&Sc.
♦ Geared towards graduates of this year and alumni of the past
