For up-to-date and accurate information on types of housing and locations, please call the Aging and Disability Resource Center at 328-9499. We have extensive listings.

Apartments– Apartment living eliminates yard care, home maintenance and climbing stairs and can increase

social contact as well as reduce housing costs. Green County offers a variety of rental housing for all income levels.

Adult Family Homes– Adult Family Homes are small group homes consisting of 4 or fewer residents and

certified by the county or state.

Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRF)- A CBRF is a group home which offers meals,

housekeeping and help with personal tasks like bathing and dressing.

Residential Care Apartment Complexes (RCAC)-Sometimes referred to as Assisted Living Facility, these

Apartment complexes provide individuals a “home-like” environment. In addition residents are able to access up to 28 hours per week of supportive personal and nursing services.

Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility– Facilities that offer skilled nursing care when extensive personal care and

medical needs exist.
