Newsletter January 2017

Dear Parents and Students,

Happy New Year! I wish you and your family God’s peace and good health in 2017.

The faculty and staff have hit the ground running as January is a very busy month at Holy Redeemer School. We continue to focus on academic excellence as we near the end of second quarter and prepare for Catholic Schools Week (January 29th- February 3rd). The theme this year is “Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service.” We want to spread the good news about Holy Redeemer School to those who may not know about us. Please post our Open House dates to your social media sites and any listservs to which you may belong. Also, invite a neigh- bor, friend or relative to attend our open houses so they can see how Holy Redeemer School lives up to its reputation of

“Excellence in Education with the Power of Faith.” We also want to see YOU at the Open Houses! Our Open Houses are for current parents, as well. Meet next year’s teacher, see the new classroom, ask your questions. This is a great op- portunity for current parents!

We will start off the week on Sunday, January 29th with our first Open House from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Our Children’s Choir will perform at the Mass at 10:00AM. Guests may tour the school, talk with our teachers, view our cur- riculum displays, and enjoy refreshments. In addition, we hope to have a large turnout at our Catholic Schools W eek Open House on Tuesday, January 31st from 8:30 AM-11:00 AM.

On Wednesday, February 1st, we invite you to join us for our Mass for the Community and the Blessing of the Throats at 8:20am.

We end the week on Friday, February 3rd by celebrating our students’ many accomplishments at the Second Quarter Awards Assembly, held in the church at 10:30 AM. The students will have a 12:30PM dismissal. A more de- tailed schedule of the week’s events is include inside this newsletter and will be sent home via SchoolReach.

We have two big announcements for the coming year! We are very excited to announce that PayPal is coming to Holy Redeemer School! If you are considering a year-end donation to Holy Redeemer School, we now have a PayPal account! Please visit our website at School.Holy-Redeemer.org and look for the PayPal button.
