Overview

COMLINK’s Dedicated Server is a type of datacenter hosting service in which the client leases an entire private server. Built upon an array of preconfigured servers our unmanaged dedicated servers are designed to meet the customer’s requirements for performance, power, speed and reliability, with the option to add additional features such as monitoring, Backup-as-a-Service and cloud storage. Unprecedented flexibility enables the customer to configure a solution to meet their business needs.

Dedicated hosting is a popular way to operate servers and their corresponding devices without owning and running the hardware or private datacenter. COMLINK’s dedicated servers provide the customers total control over their cloud environment, including access and usage, with the benefits of paying a low monthly reoccurring charge, minimal setup charges, and Teir II compatible datacenter infrastructure.

COMLINK’s Dedicated Server is an unmanaged product, which allows the customer complete control over the dedicated cloud environment. The customer is responsible for installing and managing all of their own software and applications, which gives the customer the ability to partition and control access to the server. COMLINK offers customers the option to add backup services for an additional monthly fee. The customer can choose and install their preferred operating system, while also having the option to add any required software and applications. Dedicated Servers are an ideal choice for customers that require complete control over their servers without the required capital spending as with on-premise datacenters.

Dedicated Servers are ideal for businesses or advanced users that experience high-levels website traffic or CPU-intensive applications, and are aimed at businesses with knowledgeable IT departments. A Dedicated Server gives the customer the flexibility and scalability needed to implement and manage software, applications and configurations. Dedicated Servers offer the resources and capabilities of an entire private server. The entire server is completely devoted to the customer. COMLINK’s Dedicated Server includes its own datacenter switch port with 10 Mbps bandwidth burstable to 100 Mbps.
