IMPORTANT WORDS WITH MEANING

Widow - a woman who has lost her spouse by death and has not married again. Stranger - a person whom one does not know or with whom one is not familiar. Wonderful - inspiring delight, pleasure.

Brave - ready to face and endure danger or pain; showing courage. Magician – a person with magical powers.

Beautiful – Pleasing the senses or mind aesthetically. Burning – on fire or very hot or bright.

Danger – the possibility of suffering harm or injury. Climb – Go or come up a (slope or staircase).

Terrify - cause to feel extreme fear.

Pray – address a prayer to God or another deity. Rub – apply firm pressure to the surface of something. Genie – a spirit of Arabian folklore.

Adventure – an unusual and exciting or daring experience. Appear – come into sight; become visible or noticeable. Frighten – make (someone) afraid or anxious.

Veil – a piece of fine material worn by women to protect or conceal the face. Arrange – organize or make plans for (a future event).

Magic - the power of apparently influencing events by using mysterious or supernatural forces.

Invite – Make a formal or polite request for (something) from someone. Believe – Accept the statement of (someone) as true.

Arrangement - The action, process, or result of arranging or being arranged.

• The past progressive tense is used to demonstrate an action that was happening in the past for a period of time in a particular context. • The context can be a specific time or another action.
