Can I still get access to my Verizon.net email account?
If you already migrated to the AOL platform, there is no action on your part. Customers will still be able to maintain their email address and not lose information such as contacts, calendar events and attachments. However, they must go to webmail.verizon.com to migrate their account.
Unfortunately, Frontier does not have any insight to your Verizon.net account and cannot assist you in the migration. For additional information on AOL migration, please go to the AOL Mail for Verizon Customers on

Will my Verizon email address change?
No, your email address will not change. However, we encourage you to use your Frontier email account, since we will be unable to offer any technical support for verizon.net email customers should you have a problem with your email. Frontier has partnered with Yahoo to manage its email platform, as well as deliver a one-stop online entertainment experience that includes the Frontier/Yahoo homepage portal. Can Frontier provide technical support on issues I have with my Verizon.net email address?
Unfortunately, no. Frontier does not have a way of providing technical
support to customers who maintain the @verizon.net email addresses, since those mailboxes reside on an AOL mail platform and Frontier does not have a partnership with AOL.

All new Frontier High Speed Internet customers are set up with an

Will Frontier honor the promotional price I received from Verizon?
Yes. Frontier values your business and will continue to honor the promotional pricing originally offered by Verizon through the promotional period.
How do I access my account online?
Access your account online via Frontier.com from a PC, or on a smartphone or tablet via mobile app. Your account can be accessed from any computer with an Internet connection.
Will I receive a new ID to access my products and services online and use Frontier email services?
Certainly! You can create your own Frontier ID, which will allow you to access our online account management tools.
Will my Verizon Wi-Fi account remain active with Frontier?
Your Wi-Fi account access provided by Verizon expired on March 31st. Frontier is working to create a replacement roaming Wi-Fi solution for broadband customers.
Will Frontier continue to offer Vacation Service?
Yes, Frontier will continue to offer Vacation Service. If you are on Vacation Service at the time of the transaction, your regular service will resume on the date that you have originally set with Verizon.

Will my FiOS® or High-Speed Internet download or upload speeds change?
No, your speeds will not change. Frontier will maintain the same speeds you previously had with Verizon.
Can I continue to use my own modem/wireless router that I currently have with Verizon, or do I need to switch it out?
Yes, you can continue to use your equipment. Your current modem or gateway router will continue to work with your Frontier Internet services. There is no need to return or exchange your working equipment.

How do I reset my Internet router?
Normally, powering down your router and waiting 60 seconds to power the router back on will reset your router. Instructions for resetting your router are located here.
Will my FiOS services work if the power goes out?
If you experience a power outage, your FiOS TV and Internet will not work. However, if you have the optional Battery Back-Up Unit in your Optical Network Terminal (ONT), your FiOS Digital Voice will work for up to 8 hours. I have FiOS service and the low battery alarm is going off. How do I replace the battery back-up in my ONT?
The battery back-up is an optional device in your ONT. The low-battery alarm indicates that the backup battery may need to be replaced. You can find more information on Frontier.com, or call Frontier Customer Service to order a replacement battery backup unit.
How do I fix a slow Internet connection speed?
Reboot your router by unplugging the power cord from the electrical outlet and waiting 10 seconds before reconnecting. To rule out possible wireless interference, move within 10 feet of your router to test your connection. Your Internet usage could also be at capacity. For example, if you are streaming several videos simultaneously, it could cause your connection to slow down.
Your FiOS Internet and Video on Demand (VOD) share capacity on the fiber-optic connection to your home. The capacity available for your Internet may be reduced if you are watching multiple VOD titles simultaneously.

What are my Frontier.com mail server settings?
For customers using their new @frontier.com email account, the following settings are applicable:

Your dialup Internet connection will have the same service level as before. Only your dialup number and password will change.
