I. INTRODUCTION
The state of experiencing respiratory impairment due to the submersion or immersion in water is generally called as drowning. Typically drowning occurs unpredictably and without anyone’s awareness. Drowning results in respiratory ailments and also leads immediate death. According to a survey, drowning is considered to be the 3rd leading cause for unintentional death and injuries across the globe. An estimation of about 360,000 annual drowning deaths happens worldwide. Children, males and individuals are those that get affected mostly by this drowning. Drowning is considered to be a major public health problem because an estimation of 567,090 people died from drowning in 2015. apart from death rate due to drowning there are several injuries caused due to this effect. About 9% people suffers from injury due to drowning in 2015An estimation of approximately ten folks who die from accidental drowning. Of these, two are youngsters elderly round 14 or younger. An common of about 3,536 fatal unintentional drownings associated with non-boating happen in United States from 2005-2014. In addition to this 332 human beings died from drowning every 12 months in accidents which are slightly related to boating.Every day, there are about ten individuals who die from unintentional drowning. Of these, two are children elderly around 14 or younger. Its estimated that 3,650 deaths are reported relating drowning. In addition to this 332 human beings died from drowning each year in accidents which are slightly associated with boating .

A. Zigbee based alert system
Zigbee-based pool positioning anti-flooding device and corresponding swimming management platform are designed to make sure the security of swimmers. The device is provided with a hydraulic sensor, an audible and visual alarm and a wireless transmission module. When the swimmer is detected to sneak into rock bottom of the water depth of 80CM for quite 20S for sound and lightweight alarm, at an equivalent time in the monitoring room can clearly grasp the precise location of the swimming bath where the swimmer is found convenient for rescue.
B. Air bag system
A device which will save the lifetime of an individual are often referred to. associate automatic gap of airbag system within the hand by the detection of the motion of the person’s body by the detector is distributed to trigger the vacuum pump system of the airbag. This automatic gap of the airbag within the hand of the one that is drowning facilitates him to induce help from the neighbour. The gap of airbag conjointly happens in microseconds and it's like the principle use within the automobile airbag gap system.

EXISTING SYSTEM
The existing system, gives a security answer for swimming pools that helps to examine individual swimmers via a wristband given to the individual, it's accustomed to monitor the individual’s depth in water, motion and time. Sensors square measure mounted on the wall of the pool to examine if any swimmer sporting the wristband is approaching the planned limits for depth and time. It then evaluates whether or not the swimmer is defrayment heaps of your time in the water underneath a pre-set depth of field. If that the wristband then sends a wireless alert signal through a radio or by associate degree supersonic transmission frequency to an effect unit alarm. At now the alarm that is located on the wristband begins to sound then the LED lights come on, employed on purpose} that the swimmer is to come back to a secure point. If the swimmer fails to reply as demanded, the unit then sends a full emergency attentive to the approved personnel solely. This very cuts down the likelihood of false alarms. The alarm may be a wrist joint band that triggers associate degree alarm once a swimmer has been non-moving underneath water for twenty seconds.

PROPOSED SYSTEM
The proposed system is all about designing an drowning alert system to prevent children from drowning. Two modules are designed to prevent drowning. Where the up-liftment method works in the absence of people, The other system works when drowning takes place while swimming among people which may be due to suffocation or cramps or through poor learning skills. As in low middle countries, its highly reported that ninety percent of deaths are been continuously reported every year. This system is uniquely designed to prevent children from drowning especially within 2-8 years of age group. This system will be highly implemented to schools, apartments, waterparks.etc. Its an compete IoT based system designed using Ardino-Uno as an microcontroller connected to DC-gear motors to lift the drowning child also an conductivity method to detect child from drowning. This completely relies on Internet of Things (IoT), which is a system of connecting hardware devices along with software applications. IoT provides a communication between applications and components and that are supplied with distinctive identifiers. It facilitates to transfer knowledge over a network while not requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction.

A. Magnetic Wave Switch
These sensors has a permanent magnet in the float. The Switch is present in the white stem of the sensor. As the float rises or falls with level of water in the tank, the switch gets activated by the magnet in the float, thereby the signal which is obtained from the sensors is used along with the water level controllers for controlling the motor pump.

B. Pressure Sensor
Its force by a liquid or gas on a surface and it is usually measured in units of force per unit of surface area. Common units are Pascal (Pa), Bar bar), N/mm2 or psi (pounds per square inch).
C. DC-Gear Motor
A gear motor is a specific type of electrical motor that is designed to produce high torque while maintaining a low horsepower, or low speed, motor output.
D. Aurdino-Uno
Arduino Uno is a microcontroller. It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs . This connects all hardware components and their working in regards of software.

IMPLEMENTATION AND RESULT
Initially when the system is made to turn on the sensors such as node-cell along magnetic wave switch. when the device is switched on, the node-cell built across the swimming pool platform and an wave detector keeps on monitoring. Whenever a child tries to get near a swimming pool platform in the absence of other people, the node-cell detects the child by measuring its weight and the magnetic switch continuosly checking for a wave pattern in the swimming pool. If suppose the child falls inside the pool by accident crossing the node cell platform, the wave detector on continuously sensing the irregular pattern of wave it signals the micro-controller(aurdino-uno) regarding the drowning. As soon as the signals from both node-cell along Magnetic wave switch turns out to be true, then at once the DC-gear motor lifts up the acrylic plate set down to the swimming pool platform. This system uplifts the child to the surface of the platform, by preventing suffocation due to drowning.
