Includes full support for Windows 7 as a client access platform or virtual desktop operating system • View Client with Local Mode (previously Offline Mode)—Download virtual desktops onto a physical PC or laptop and execute
locally with or without a network connection. Security policies remain intact and only changes are checked back into datacenter • Application Assignment—Easily assign ThinApp applications from View Manager to pools or individual desktops.
• Kiosk Mode—Allow multiple users to share a published virtual desktop from a kiosk - no need to launch virtual desktop first in order to access applications
• Updated VMware View Manger Administrative Capabilities—Includes new scalable admin user interface, role-based administration and platform extensibility to leverage third-party management tools such as Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
