PREFACE

This catalogue introduces the product portfolio offered by NEC Eastern Europe Ltd. (NEE),

mainly for NEC microwave equipment. These products include base-band connection interfaces,

RF accessories, installation materials, measuring tools and specialized antenna types. All of

these accessories were developed and manufactured based on specific customer requirements in

accordance with the quality standards of NEC Corporation, compliance to which is being certified

A) I/O Board Set definition, E1 connector types

I/O Boards and Interconnection cables provide access to E1 traffic channels of PASOLINK equipment on specific connector types. The I/O Board is the unit with connectors and the Interconnection cables are the cable assemblies that connect IDU and I/O Board.

I/O Board(s) with relevant Interconnection cable(s) make an I/O Board Set. Numerous I/O Board Sets are available depending on capacity and connector types. Example: I/O Board Set for 16E1 with BNC connectors

Please define the type and capacity of E1 connectors of your PASOLINK using this connector guide. Add main board capacity (if applicable) and interface card capacity.

Tip: Capacity should be reconsidered if the E1 requirement is below the possible maximum capacity (and no expansion is planned).

Please determine the preferred user connector type: RJ45, DSUB37, BNC, 1656, SMZ, SMB or 1023.

Choosing (1) E1 connector type your IDU, (2) required capacity and (3) required user connector type, please move from left to right in the following table. As a result you will get the code and reference number of the I/O Board Set that you need for your PASOLINK E1 distribution.

faults and defects caused by workmanship, manufacturing process and/or the material procured by the supplier,

and shall at all times conform to the specification and be fit for the purpose.

Discontinue notice and Compliance to Standards

Discontinue Notice for existing products or component parts will be announced to Customer / NEC Affiliates

six (6) month before the discontinuance of those products.

All products and packing materials are in compliance with REACH and RoHs Directives and applicable EU

law.

NEE and its suppliers have ISO 9001 / 14001 Certification.
