Introduction

This document provides information on the functionality available for Sabre Online on Mobile devices and tablets

Devices applicable are:  Apple iPhone  Android phones  Apple iPad  Android tablets

 Any mobile device utilizing HTML5

Sabre Online mobile device and tablet functionality features available are:  Authorisers can action bookings requiring approval

 Login and view any current, future and past bookings

 Travel bookers / arrangers can request change or cancel of an existing booking

 Travel bookers / arrangers can confirm or cancel a booking that has been placed on hold  Arrangers can change authoriser, if multiple authorisers exist

Sabre Online bookings via Mobile and Tablet devices

Sabre Online Mobile functionality has been upgraded to an improved appearance inline with the Sabre Online colour scheme.

Sabre Online users have the freedom to retrieve existing bookings, authorise booking and to also create new booking while they are on the move with their mobile and tablet devices .

During the approval process, the travel booker, arranger and/or the authoriser may also send a request to the travel agency to modify or cancel bookings.

To activitate the mobile functionality, the following setting in the SOL Admin Tool > Agency Level > Other

Enable mobile devices must be enabled with YES.

Sabre Online admin tool setting “allow mobile devices”

This setting at Yes will

a) Enable a new look and feel screen for both mobile and tablet devices b) Enable the screen to fit a mobile device for approvals and view bookings c) Allow user to create booking using both mobile and tablet devices

If this setting is at NO, when accessing Sabre Online via mobile or tablet devices, it brings you to the desktop webpage.

Watchpoint! Although some mobile devices automatically adjust the page to fit the screen, it is recommended to access Sabre Online on tablet devices for a better user experience. Mobile devices can be used for booking approval and retrieval but not recommended for new booking creation.

Login Sabre Online via Mobile and Tablet devices

Log in Screen of a Mobile device

Once you log on via your mobile or tablet device the Sabre Online screen will display appropriately for the sizing of your devices.

Tip! Sabre Online works best with screen orientation set as landscape mode.

The following functions are now available using your mobile devices and tablets:  Create new bookings

 Retrieve own bookings

 Retrieve bookings you arranged (applicable only to travel arrangers)  Authorise bookings (applicable only to travel authorisers)

 Advance Search

Enter email address as the User ID and password, Press LOGIN

Upon logging in, the Welcome message with the user name will be displayed. Swipe to scroll down if required.

Tip! Sabre Online works best with screen orientation set as landscape mode. Forget

Password

If the password is unknown or requires a change, use the Forgot Password button. The following will display to advise an email has been sent with a new temporary password;

Use temporary password

The temporary password supplied in the email will prompt you to change to a new password. Complete all three fields;

 Current Password  New Password

 Re-enter new Password

Session Expiry If the session to Sabre Online is not currently active, the login screen will display advising User the

session has expired;

Complete User Name, Password and select Login to commence a new session to Sabre Online

Sign Out The Sign Out button is available on all pages to exit Sabre Online.

Authorise bookings via Mobile and Tablet devices

Travel Authorisers have the ability to action bookings that require approval via mobile and tablet devices. The below demonstrates the Authoriser's workflow to action a booking that requires approval.

Travel Authoriser receives an Authorisation Request email; select the booking number hyperlink to the Sabre Online approval process. This will take you to the new mobile device and tablet booking approval screen.

Note: login to Sabre Online is not required when accessing authorisation process from the email.

To authorise booking (Continued)

The following Booking Approval page will be displayed to the authoriser with the booking number, PNR record locator and the status of the booking.

To authorise a booking, swipe to scroll down and you will see three options - Authorise Booking, Request Modification and Request Cancellation.

Select the AUTHORISE BOOKING button

When authorising a booking using the mobile device, the following screen will be displayed:

Approval comments -Mobile display

Enter Approver comments and select APPROVE, MODIFY or REJECT

Note: Approver comments are mandatory.

Once the booking has been actioned by the Authoriser:

 Email advising action taken is sent to bookers, approvers and travel consultants  PNR remarks fields updated with status

 Sabre Agency Manager booking status is updated

Retrieve booking to authorise

Travel Authoriser can also view bookings on their mobile and tablet devices by entering the booking number or by selecting the option Booking to Authorise from the main menu.

When selecting the option Booking to Authorise, all bookings with status AWAITING APPROVAL will be displayed. Swipe to scroll down for more bookings.

Bookings that are awaiting approval will appear in yelllow.

Tip! You may increase the number of items displayed on the screen by selecting Options

Retrieving Booking requires authorisation

You may select 10/25/50/100 results per page

And there are sort options you can choose to sort by Ascending or Descending order for the following fields:

 Traveller Name  Destination

 Departure Date  Arrival Date

 Booking Status  Booking authorises status

 Booking Ordered date  Booking Ordered by

Move to Next page on Mobile device

If there are more bookings to be displayed, scroll down to the buttom of the screen and select Next for next page.

Move to Next page on Tablet device

If you wish to authorise one of the bookings, press the button located next to the passenger name and destination to proceed:

Booking will be displayed with a Quote Status and Authorisation as AWAITING APPROVAL Swipe to scroll down further for the option to AUTHORISE BOOKING

Request Modification

Travel Arrangers and self-bookers have the ability to use mobile and tablet devices to request a modification to a trip. This can be done during the authorisation process or when user retrieves the booking using the mobile and/or tablet devices.

During the approval process, user can select the the REQUEST MODIFICATION button

on Tablet Device Comments for Modification

Enter comments required and select SUBMIT.

Note: Due to the screen size of a mobile device, the buttons

Reject a booking

Rejecting a booking On a Mobile Device

To reject a booking, search the booking by entering the booking number in the search field Below example shows booking 12034322 is being retrieved

On a Tablet Device

Select AUTHORISE BOOKING The following screen will be displayed:

The following message will be displayed with the Status as QUOTE and Authorisation status

REJECTED.

A rejected booking will be displayed in grey colour with status CANCELLED.

Tip! When using a booking number to search, user needs to press GO or RETURN on their mobile or tablet device to proceed.

To retrieve a booking you arranged

Select Bookings I Arranged from the menu

Booking requires changes or modification

When retrieving an approved booking prior to departure date, either the travel arranger or travel booker has an option to Request Cancellation or Request Modification.

The following buttons will become available when retrieving an existing booking.

Modification When requesting modification, enter the comments and select SUBMIT to process your request.

Request Cancellation

Request Cancellation

While displaying an approved booking you arranged, you may also send a cancellation request using your mobile and tablet devices.

Select the button REQUEST CANCELLATION, the below message will be displayed:

"Are you sure you wish to request a cancellation for booking XXXX? Note that if the booking is ticketed penalities may apply"

Once you click YES, the following message will be displayed:

warning message will be truncated and full text will not be displayed.

Displaying Fare details and Itinerary

Display Itinerary while authorising booking

During the authorisation process, you may display the itinerary by selecting the red button

ITINERARY to expand for more information

Below is an example of a booking with Flight and Car segments that require authorisation: Select the symbol to expand for more itinerary details.

If the booking contains an airfare component, there is an extra button to display Fare and Policy

Details. Select the button to expand for more information including base fare, taxes and fees. Select the button to collapse.

Create a new booking using mobile and tablet devices

Create a new booking

Sabre Online has improved its mobile functionality to offer a quick link to make new bookings. Sabre Online will utilise the full URL via your mobile or tablet device for new bookings.

Once you log on from a mobile or a tablet device, you continue to have all the functionalities as you have from a computer/laptop.

Tip! Although you can use your mobile device to create new booking and some devices may

auto-adjust to fit the screen, it is recommended to use a tablet device in landscape orientation. To Create new booking,select the New Bookings option or the button to proceed

Once you have selected the New Bookings option, you will continue to have all the functionalities as you have from a computer/laptop.

Select the desired seat from seat map; the seat number will be populated into box next to the passenger name. Click on SAVE & CONTINUE to proceed.

Advanced Search

The new Sabre Online mobile and tablet device update gives users an option to perform advanced search for existing bookings by using the following filters:

From the screen, select option of Traveller, Arranger or Authoriser or select the

button next to the option.

The names will come up, select the appropriate person or select the button next to the name. Search by Departure From/To Date Search by Booking From/To Date

You may also search for bookings by Departure From/To date or by Booking From/To date

Select the Calendar button to display the calendar. Select date to populate into the From/To date fields. Default date is today's day.

If you have selected another date but want to jump to today, select the button.

To go to the previous month, select or to go to the next month, select

User can also select a different booking status for the search, default status is Current. To select different status, select the button. There are four options to choose from:

 Current  Future  Travelled  Cancelled Authorise Status

User can also select authorise status for the search, default status is Blank. To select different authorise status, select the button.

There are seven options:  Awaiting

 Approved  On Hold  Rejected

 Approved Auth Exp  Cancelled Auth Exp
