Palace Cinemas offers the best prices available for schools and holiday programs on weekdays between 10am and 4pm during school terms.
Price: For school groups consisting of 20 or more, tickets are $9 per student ($12 for 3D features) and a complimentary ticket for each teacher/carer for every 8 students.
Luncheons
Available at Balwyn, Dendy Brighton, Brighton Bay & Westgarth
Film luncheons offer a relaxed social outing with the chance to enjoy a current release film along with a delicious lunch. Films commence at 11.00am followed with a seated luncheon in one of the palatial Palace Cinema foyers. Consisting of freshly made sandwiches along with coffee, tea and cake, luncheons are a terrific way to enjoy a post-film discussion with friends.
Price: Bookings can be made for over 6 patrons at a ticket price of $14.95 per person. Please call the cinema directly for their latest program and to make your booking.

3D surcharge + $3 per seat PRIVATE CINEMA HIRE
Cinemas can be hired exclusively for groups wanting to run presentations, product launches or simply provide their guests the luxury of a private film screening. We also offer the flexibility to increase or decrease your cinema size, or add extra cinemas as needed, up to 10 days before your event. So don’t be afraid of aiming to fill the biggest cinema!

Technical: Do you have a video, or a screen slide that you would like to run before the film or presentation? Not a problem. Fees apply and the content must be supplied one week prior in DCP. Contact us for more details.
SESSION TIMES
Exact session times can only be confirmed once cinema programming is complete. All session times are advised on the Tuesday before your booking.
Session times start within the following windows: Between 10.00 and 10.30am
Between 12.00 and 12.30pm Between 2.00 and 2.30pm Between 4.00 and 4.30pm
Between 6.30 and 7.00pm (early evening) Between 9.00 and 9.30pm (late evening) AVAILABLE DAYS:
Group bookings are offered every day of the week, subject to availability. Some locations can not offer bookings during their peak periods (Friday and Saturday evenings). The group booking rates do not apply for public holidays, film festivals or special events.
PAYMENT
Bookings can be made for an estimated number of guests initially.
Final guest numbers and payment for a Group Booking is required 2 working days prior to your booking.
Final guest numbers and payment for Private Cinema Hire is required one week prior to your booking.
Payment can be made by cash, credit card or direct transaction. No deposit is required.

SELF-CATERING
Palace Cinemas offer you the option to self-cater some food subject to the terms below: A $50 function area fee applies for the set-up, clean-up and pack down of the
function space. If you include any food or drinks through the cinema as part of your booking package this fee is waived.
The responsibility of food safety and hygiene lies solely with the group organiser. Due to limited refrigeration space all food must be consumed prior to the film. No hot food is permitted.
The organiser is responsible for supplying all crockery & cutlery for self-catered food.
No items that are available for purchase from the Palace Bar are to be sold or given away. This includes lollies, chocolates, popcorn, packet chips, ice creams, alcohol, and ALL drinks.
For those who are after more than just a film, our combos and catering options will tan-talise your tastebuds while offering excellent value for money.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Groups cannot supply their own drinks (alcoholic or non- alcoholic) at Palace Cinemas.
Wine and beer are charged per full bottle. (Wine: 5 glasses per bottle) No refunds for pre-ordered, pre-paid wines.
When being charged on consumption, the organiser is responsible for the payment of the drinks at the immediate conclusion of the event.
The prices listed here are reduced rates. Bar prices will differ. Prices and selection are subject to change.
Our liquor license does not extend beyond our premises and therefore you are not permitted to take home any alcohol that is not consumed at the function.
