2013 Celebrating 30 years in USA

Since 1876

When Paolo Fiocchi , then President of Fiocchi Munizioni , decided

that to better interact with the USA Market the only solution was

to be present “ on site “ , I was appointed to be the liaison officer

between the Italian BOD and the USA project.

I was young , so much so that looking backward it seems to me

it was another life. For me USA was literally love at first sight ,

I had been in the country before , but as a tourist , and being

involved as a businessman was a totally different set of cards, an

exhilarating one for that . The potential was inebriating , you only

had to work hard and go get it .

Bob Oxsen was my mentor and the spear head of the USA project

; it was not easy , but we succeeded . I will not bore the reader

to death with details that will forcefully sound like a long “ pat in

back “ session , what matters is that we are here.

We did what was asked from us to do , but , we sometime forget

to thank the American customer , the real author of our success.

The Market believed in us , and supported us , in easy and

difficult times , as it often happens. Our task , is now to keep

earning our customer trust and find the right tools to increase it

and find new fans for our products.

Again , like it was in 1983 , the trick relies on hard work and

commitment . I believe that today we have some solid foundations

as we enjoy a phenomenal management team , led by Pietro ,

a highly skilled work force at office and production levels who

really cares about our mission.

On the other hand we live in a different market reality compared

to 1983 : the level of competition is much more intense and

highly skilled , the economical times are not really the best and

all of the Western World faces challenging decisions.

Our growth as Fiocchi of America , since the fourth generation

took the helm , was impressive and we are working feverishly to

add new and exciting products , technical improvements aimed

at better and faster production equipment and enhanced on line

quality control systems.

As a Family , we will pitch in all of our possible effort , both

financial and intellectual to keep our business successful ; we

trust the American dream , it started for us in 1983 !

Happy Anniversary, Fiocchi USA!

By

Michael G. Sabbeth

A writer on any topic, to be credible, should disclose its biases. I disclose mine. Fiocchi USA has been an ally in my gun writing career for more than a decade. Fiocchi first provided me with 20 gauge training ammunition to test a Beretta Urika Youth Model. Fiocchi has consistently supported writing projects that were personally meaningful such as articles about shooters with diabetes , the Wounded Warriors Foundation, the Paralyzed Veterans Association, disabled shooters, eyesight and shooting performance and, of course, testing magnificent shotguns.

Good Citizenship is a Duty

Details illuminate the big picture, and the details demonstrate that Fiocchi’s generosity with me was not unique but rather illustrative of a pervasive company ethos. Like the iconic Rocky Balboa, Fiocchi USA punches above its weight among ammunition manufacturers in contributing to the community of shooting sports. Carlo N. Fiocchi, Vice President of Sales, described his and Fiocch’s obligations to be good citizens with words infused with humility and gratitude. Explaining the philosophy underpinning Fiocchi’s work with military veterans, Carlo said, “It acknowledges what they have done for the United States and, indeed, for the Western world. It is our duty to help them.” Being an ex-airborne trooper gives gravitas to Carlo’s words.

Fiocchi’s civic involvement goes beyond military veterans. Fiocchi supports multiple top tier clay target competitors, many youth programs and sponsors significant competitions. Fiocchi partners with some of the finest shooting facilities in the United States such as the Beretta Shooting Grounds at Dover Furnace, New York. Fiocchi supports these programs for several reasons. Fiocchi wants to advance all shooting sports and, as does any competitor, Fiocchi likes to win.

Fiocchi’s engagements in the shooting sports share an ideological breadth that extends beyond breaking targets, punching holes in paper or facilitating a successful hunt. For example, in the context of competition shooting, Carlo expressed a nobler purpose that can be realized through attributes he calls ‘healthy mental gymnastics:’ “Competition gives shooters mental discipline, self-control and concentration, qualities helpful for the rest of their lives and paramount if one wants to succeed.” Fiocchi’s philosophy expressed by Carlo affirms that there is more to the shooting sports than shooting. The application of these same healthy mental gymnastics to its employees has catapulted Fiocchi to its stunning success.

Born in the USA

Fiocchi Munizioni SpA, the Italian parent company of Fiocchi USA, came into existence serendipitously. In 1876 Giulio Fiocchi was a bank manager assigned to collect on a defaulted loan from a manufacturer of black powder and muskets in Lecco, a city northeast of Milan, Italy. Giulio concluded the borrower was insolvent and that repayment was unlikely. He believed, however, that he and his brother, Giacomo, an engineer in Milan, could reconfigure the company to create a viable ammunition business.

Giulio and Giacomo purchased the defaulting company and in 1877 began producing hunting and sporting ammunition under the name Giulio Fiocchi Enterprise, the predecessor of the present company, Fiocchi Munizioni SpA. Fiocchi of America is one of the international divisions wholly owned by Fiocchi Munizioni.

With support from Italy, Paolo Fiocchi , the father of Pietro , current president of Fiocchi of America , established Fiocchi of America in 1983 as an ammunition importing company located in Springfield, Missouri. After almost two years of operation, the management experienced an Archimedes-like Eureka! moment when they realized importing loaded ammunition was not an effective business model. Concluding that the company couldn’t react fast enough to the needs of the US shooters, it was decided by the family to build a manufacturing plant on a farm in the Ozarks near Springfield. In an improbable historical repeat, Fiocchi acquired the land from a farmer defaulting on his property loan.

When the American flag was planted in the Ozark Mountains, Fiocchi became a productive American company. Carlo had left Fiocchi for a few years but rejoined Fiocchi in April 2005, Pietro , the son of Paolo took the helm of the Company , the fourth generation of the family took the place of the third and under a new effective team, substantial revenue growth and increased market share were realized. No longer merely an importer, Fiocchi presently manufactures tens of millions of rounds a year and has become a significant contributor to the region’s economic growth.

That Fiocchi USA is a family-owned company imparts an intimacy and collegiality to the company’s talented workforce and fosters its own sense of family, an American family, among its approximately fifty employees. Dee Zambetti from the marketing department said. “Anytime you work in a company owned by a family, it’s different from a company owned by stockholders. Working at Fiocchi is like coming home.”

Troy Potter, director of new product development, grew up in the Ozarks and began working for Fiocchi in 1995. Knowledge he gleaned from years of

Customer Service above All

During my visit to the Fiocchi factory in Lecco a few years ago, Constantino Fiocchi, an owner of Fiocchi Munizioni SpA , told me that his company “tries to translate the shooter’s desires into production.” That same aspiration is faithfully implemented by Fiocchi USA. While the huge domestic ammunition companies move like great battleships to maneuver in new directions, Fiocchi USA darts about like a speedboat, responding with agility to customer requests and input. Competition clay target shooters, for example, advise Fiocchi on combinations of powders, primers and shot weights to achieve what they believe yields maximum performance.

Fiocchi applies holistic and interactive philosophies to its customer relations that are premised on high quality information and accessibility. Troy Potter receives dozens of calls from customers posing technical questions on law enforcement, military, target shooting and hunting applications for Fiocchi’s products. Troy patiently discusses powders, velocities and ballistics and any other variable with customers to make sure they have a load they can count on when they get into the woods or onto the target course or are confronted with life and death situations.

Troy emphasized to me that Fiocchi employees see themselves not as people working at a job but as hunters and shooters and participants in a sporting culture duty-bound to share their wisdom. The employees grasp the implications of Fiocchi’s relative small size in the industry. “They realize,” Troy told me, “that they are not the biggest fish in the pond and so they give more attention to detail and more customer service.” They answer their phones, their email and their voice mail. Troy added, “I try to put myself into the customer’s shoes and give the information I would like to receive. We try to deliver a higher level of personal service.”

Illustrative of the culture of Fiocchi USA, Troy sees and articulates the big picture. “Needless to say, I’m always glad to help when someone is passing on the sport and hobby so many of us already enjoy, whether they work with us or not. Bringing new shooters on board is obviously good for our business but support for shooting in general is even more important.”

Crafting the Future

Fiocchi USA management team lives and works in accord with the maxim that the best way to control the future is to create it. “If you have an opportunity to work,” they told me, “you have to grab it.” Under this stewardship, the future looks very bright for Fiocchi USA. The thirtieth anniversary has been auspicious for Fiocchi USA. The company’s production facility is in the

The managers of the company possess a preternatural instinct for opportunity and a passion for innovation. Ideas for new products and marketing bounce around the company’s collective consciousness like steel balls in a pinball machine. Fiocchi has successfully enhanced its brand recognition in several distinct markets. An example of marketing creativity is Fiocchi’s acquiring the permission of the Single Action Shooting Society to use their logo on the packaging of Fiocchi’s cowboy action loads.

Fiocchi has invested heavily in equipment to increase the range and quality and environmental compatibility of its product lines. A sense of urgency pervades the company’s culture. The faster the years tick by, the greater the motivation to improve its position and configure its image to attain maximum exposure, credibility and market share.

Fiocchi sees itself as different from its American competitors, which are admired but inhabit a different corporate world. Fiocchi strives to achieve market separation in several ways. Innovative packaging presents a fresh creative look as seen in Fiocchi’s line of Ammo in a Can.

Beyond external differentiation such as packaging, Fiocchi has become an industry leader in substantive developments such as lead-free hunting bullets and an enhanced selection of rifle and pistol hunting, target and self-defense loads. Fiocchi’s improved website www.fiocchiusa.com efficiently and comprehensively provides a cornucopia of information on new products such as the Cowboy Action Line, the Law Enforcement Line, new rifle, pistol and shotgun loads, the impressive lead-substitute Tundra ammunition which has been approved by the Fish and Wildlife Department and what Fiocchi describes as a revolutionary system for bullet lubrication. Commentary on the products from customers and Fiocchi’s sales force is also available on the website.

Humility, accessibility, engagement and a sense of duty are guiding principles that elevated Fiocchi USA to prominence within the full array of American shooting venues. My words are intended to be a statement of homage to a friend, an outstanding corporate citizen and to marvelous employees. Happy Anniversary, Fiocchi!

A Gold and a Silver for Fiocchi at the London Olympics.

Canned Heat!

The convenience and protection that come from canned ammo or handy reusable plastic containers are features that Fiocchi is proud to provide to our shooting customers. Cans and plastic containers protect the ammo from the elements including dust/dirt, moisture, and humidity. Easy to carry and easier to store, packaging options from Fiocchi allow for more convenience and peace of mind when it comes to long term storage and protection of your ammo whether being stored or transported from your home to the range or field.

Fiocchi Canned Heat ammo is packed in a sealed can with desiccant to protect from moisture. The can also features a recloseable plastic lid so you can open it and shoot some or all of the ammo and reclose the can with the plastic lid-much more secure and durable than a cardboard box. Useful for storing and protecting ammo in your vehicle or “go-bag”, Fiocchi Canned Heat cans can then be reused to contain small parts, fired brass, or trash at the range, campsite, home, or shop.

Jessica Rossi , young and excellent , made it happen for Fiocchi again in the Women’s Trap establishing also a World Record ( 99/100 ). Jessica started shooting when she was 12 years old ; once she finished school she dedicated herself to this sport reaching the ultimate goal this year in the London Olympics. Jessica belonged to the Fiocchi Munizioni team for many years and we are proud to have contributed to her successes with our products.

She is a shining example : hard work , commitment , and perseverance are the values that characterize Jessica and these are very positive guidelines for all young shooters.

We would like to mention, another great athlete that distinguished himself, proudly sponsored by Fiocchi, Anders Golding, silver medal in Men’s Skeet, who made us enjoy enormously his performance!

Fiocchi of America Team Shooter Anthony Matarese (picture bottom right), that has been a spearhead Fiocchi shooter for many years, became the 2012 Champion of the US Open, another feather to his hat that now resembles a lot like an Indian Chief headdress ! Bravo Anthony !!

Maybe you shoot something very classic or more exotic or just plain not from around here. Fiocchi Classic loads and specialty calibers allow shooters of classic Smith and Wessons, Mausers, Nagants, Webleys, Steyrs, and Lebels to continue to enjoy their guns with modern ammunition. Utilizing smokeless powders (at appropriate-for-caliber performance specifications), boxer-type non corrosive primers in brass cases, and correct bullets for the load. Fiocchi continues to offer calibers that most other manufacturers have forgotten about. Most of our Classic Loads are no longer made by other companies. You might find some other calibers in older, surplus ammo but doesn’t your gun deserve the best modern ammunition available? If the answer is yes, shoot Fiocchi Classic and Specialty calibers.

We want you to be sure you and your gun enjoy Fiocchi Classic and Specialty ammunition safely. Because many of the guns that shoot these calibers may have a respectful age or uncertain service and maintenance histories, we recommend that if there is any question about the gun, please have it checked by a competent gunsmith before firing. We know our ammo is safe and we want you to be sure your gun is safe before firing. Better to make an unsure firearm an interesting conversation piece or collectible than to risk damage or injury. We’re sure you agree.

Self Defense Ammunition

Firearms have many uses including relaxation, serious competition, casual plinking, and self defense. Fiocchi makes a wide selection of ammunition for all these uses and more; let’s take a minute to talk about self defense. The proper combination of ammunition, equipment, training, and practice are necessary for proficient, responsible self defense.

Fiocchi offers the ammunition you need for practically any self defense application: for training and practice, our Shooting Dynamics line of pistol and revolver ammunition combines value with quality in such a way as to maximize your training efforts and expense; our Extrema XTP handgun ammunition is our top of the line handgun ammunition for self defense and for those of you who prefer a shotgun, look to our line of Exacta buckshot and slugs for more firepower.

Fiocchi buckshot uses nickel-plated pellets in 00 and 4 buck for consistent patterns and penetration. We offer a low recoil 00 load for pumps, single shots, side by sides, over-unders, etc. but not recommended for autoloaders.

Fiocchi also offers standard high velocity 00 and 4 buck loads for all shotguns, we have engineered all our buckshot shells so that no buffer is needed to deliver the patterns defensive shot gunners need (without the mess and expense of the buffer material). Nickel-plating on the pellets helps to improve the surface lubricity of the pellet and its hardness, these benefits reduce deformation as the pellets move through the barrel and choke and improve the aerodynamic properties of the pellet.

We also use full shot cup wads with a cushion section to ease acceleration and protect the pellets when fired. This features result in better patterns and more energy on target.

Fiocchi offers three slugs for 12 gauge shotguns, one full-power one ounce full bore slug for optimum power. We also offer two lower recoil options (one ounce and 7/8 ounce); both full bore for optimum stopping power. The full power round is best for auto-loading shotguns and the low recoil options work great in pumps, single shots, side by sides, and over-unders.

Please visit the dedicated sections of this catalog for more information on each of the products mentioned here.

In the firearms industry, they are called “modern sporting rifles” or “MSR’s”. Gun owners and shooters like us know them as “ARs” or “Black Guns”. However, as you can see, the current selection of ARs is available in many other colors besides black.

Whatever you call them, right now they are one of the fastest selling types of firearms. Available in calibers such as .204 Ruger, .223 Rem., .243 Win, and .308 Win (and even some semi-custom guns in other calibers), there are many reasons why they are so popular-versatility, adaptability, accuracy, and just plain lots of fun to shoot. Whether you use your AR for fun, competition, training, or hunting, Fiocchi makes ammunition to meet the needs of most any AR shooter and application. Fiocchi’s Shooting Dynamics full metal jacket boat tail bullets in .223 Rem (55 and 62 grain) and .308 Win (150 grain) are great for informal target shooting, competition (such as Three Gun matches), and training for law enforcement or home defense. These loads are an economical way to get the most for your dollar in high-volume shooting. Other .204 Ruger and .223 Rem loads featuring V Max bullets and soft points can be used for varmint and small game hunting. Prairie dogs, ground chucks, squirrels, coyotes, etc. can all be hunted effectively with an AR rifle. .243 caliber MSRs can utilize Fiocchi’s range of loads using the soft point and SST bullets for varmints to mid size game such as antelope and deer. .308 Win caliber ARs can be used with Fiocchi loads using soft points and SSTs or Game Kings® from Sierra for mid size and larger game such as deer and antelope.

For serious competition and long range shooting with your AR, rely on Fiocchi’s Exacta Rifle Match rounds loaded with world-renown Sierra Match King Hollow Point Boat Tail Bullets in 69 and 77 grain for .223 Rem and 168, 175, and 180 for .308 Win chambered ARs. Fiocchi’s Exacta Match rounds combined with the right Modern Sporting Rifle may just prove to you that “bolt-gun accuracy” is not limited to bolt-action rifles anymore.

There is something very satisfying about hitting a steel target so far away you can barely see it with the naked eye. Maybe it’s the time delay from when the shot is fired to hearing the satisfying “clank” or “ting” when shooting metal targets or seeing the vapor trail at long range that is so enticing. Or maybe you like to test your skills against the elements on paper, shooting for the group that is tighter than your personal best. Sierra Hollow Point Match King Bullets and skilled Fiocchi ballisticians and machine operators using the optimum components ensure you get more long range consistency for your shooting dollar. Make the most of your long range shooting system and the effort you put into figuring range, wind, and the other variables that make long range shooting so challenging and satisfying by using Fiocchi Exacta Match Rifle ammunition. Fiocchi Exacta Match ammo is used by law enforcement marksmen and civilian shooters alike. When you “Send It!”, use Fiocchi in .223 Rem (69 and 77), .308 Win (168, 175, and 180), 30-06 Springfield (168 and 180), and .300 Win. Mag (190).

Fiocchi Shooting Dynamics Rifle Ammunition

Bang for the buck. Fiocchi has lived true to this saying since we came to the USA thirty years ago and it’s even more important today.

Fiocchi strives to deliver high-quality bullets with reloadable brass cases and economical, performance-oriented powders with the same reliable primers to deliver high-quality consistent performance at an economical price. Shooting Dynamics rounds use full metal jackets (for practice), soft points, or flat soft points (for 30-30).

Great ammo at a great price for your bolt action, lever gun, autoloader, single shot, or pump rifle. Even our 7.62x39 ammo uses reloadable brass cases (no steel) with non-corrosive boxer primers and copper-jacketed bullets. No steel or bi-metal jacketed bullets prohibited by many ranges. Fiocchi Shooting Dynamics delivers on performance and price.

Fiocchi Extrema XTP Handgun Line

For the very best Fiocchi has to offer in handgun ammunition for hunting and self defense, load your gun with our Extrema XTP line of ammunition. The XTP bullet was chosen for its performance and the engineering that went in to making it one of the most popular bullets on the market. Hand loaders choose the XTP because it works. So did we.

When we combine XTP jacketed hollow point bullets with nickel plated cases (for increased reliability in adverse conditions and positive feed and function in semiautomatic pistols), reliable primers, and clean consistent powders, you get the best value and performance handgun ammunition in the market.

Extrema XTPs are available in calibers for most any revolver and pistol from .25ACP to .45ACP and even great for lever-action carbines and rifles chambered in such calibers as .357 and .44 Magnum. For the ammunition that you carry when it matters the most, choose Fiocchi Extrema XTPs. When you see Fiocchi Extrema XTPs in economical 25 round boxes, you’ll be very pleased when you find the difference in price compared to other self defense/hunting ammunition. After you shoot them, you’ll know you made the right purchase.

Fiocchi EMB Pistol Line

The proprietary technology that is the EMB (expanding mono block) bullet provides a unique solution to a common problem-concern for over penetration. The EMB is made from a homogenous lead free material (combined with a reliable lead free primer that requires no special handling or storage) so there is no core and jacket to separate.

Typically, these bullets penetrate less than common jacketed lead bullets (when tested in ballistic gelatin) and reduce the risk of over penetration when used for self defense in the home, apartment, on the street, or other densely populated areas while still delivering the expansion you want, to dump the energy in your target. Let us be clear-shot placement is still the most important aspect of self defense shooting and we do not guarantee these bullets will not over penetrate.

Testing in bare calibrated ballistic gelatin has shown these 9mm bullets will penetrate around 8 inches of depth while bullets fired into calibrated ballistic gelatin covered with cloth to simulate layers of clothing will penetrate around 6 inches. If the bullets should happen to completely

penetrate the target, they are less likely to continue penetration through structural walls or other barriers.

They will function reliably in all semi-auto pistols but be sure to test in your gun as you would any defensive ammo. Accuracy is consistent with standard ammunition and you should not see much measurable difference in point of aim/impact at defensive distances. The EMB round operates at standard SAAMI pressure and is not considered Plus P (high pressure).

Fiocchi Frangible Lead Free Training Ammunition

Utilizing lead free frangible bullets and lead free primers, Fiocchi can provide a valuable training aid for indoor and outdoor ranges that do not want heavy metals on their backstops or firing lines. Frangible bullets provide an increased margin of safety when training at close range (as defined by your target maker) due to reduced ricochet.

On impact with hard targets, the bullets break into many small pieces that carry little energy to splash back at the shooter, or fellow shooters in on the training. These are great for indoor and outdoor live fire shoot houses, common with law enforcement training, or indoor range training being sought by conscientious civilians intent on increasing their chances of survival during armed encounters.

Bullet weight and velocity are calibrated to give recoil impulse and point of aim/impact performance similar to common defensive loads. Try some in your handgun (or .223 rifle-see rifle ammo section) and prepare to train safely to survive. No bullet jacket ensures high frangibility while still providing the reliable feed and function you need to train at the highest levels of proficiency.

Self Defense

We hope you never need our ammo for self defense or home protection. Nobody wants to have to use ammo for that purpose. But the time may come when you don’t have much choice. If that time should come, we hope you choose Fiocchi.

We offer a wide selection of handgun, rifle, and shotgun ammunition to fill the needs of the armed, conscientious citizen and the diverse applications of urban, suburban, and country living.

Rifle ammunition in popular calibers, a wide selection of handgun ammo including EMB and hollow or soft point, and shotshells for low recoil or full power applications-Fiocchi has what you need. Learn, practice, repeat.

Fiocchi Pistol and Revolver Shooting

Dynamics Line

Today’s shooting dollar needs to stretch as far as possible. But to train and remain proficient with a handgun (or any gun or tool for that matter), you must practice. We, as shooters too, realize the importance of both value and training. That’s why we make the Shooting Dynamics Line of handgun ammo.

Combining quality brass cases (no steel) with consistent primers and clean powders and full metal jacket, jacketed hollow point and soft point bullets in many calibers, Fiocchi provides the balance of quality and value you need to enjoy a day at the range with the family or get in some quality training time with the guys (or girls). We load bullets of the same weight to velocities that are comparable with high-quality defensive loads so you get realistic training-recoil impulse and point of aim/impact just like our XTP line of defensive ammo.

So you can practice with the less expensive ammo, shoot some XTPs to confirm function and then clean and lube the gun after the practice session, load the XTPs for defense, and know that your training will help prepare you for the real thing. If you run a suppressed 9mm pistol or subgun, check out our 158 FMJ load. You can hear the difference.

Unlike some other ammo companies, we don’t make different “brands” of ammo under different names. All of our ammo carries the Fiocchi name big and bold like it should. We load it with as high a quality at as low a price as we can for you (and us) to shoot.

Tundra Waterfowl and Upland Game Shotshells

You asked and we delivered again-you wanted the performance of lead but in a non-lead pellet. Fiocchi Tundra flies like lead, patterns like lead, chokes like lead, and hits like lead. Problem solved. With no damage to your gun from the pellets, Tundra delivers the performance you want with materials that the law allows when non-toxic shot is required.

The result of the research was Fiocchi Tundra tungsten-composite shotshells. The right combination of tungsten, stainless steel, a binder, and graphite coating gives the hunter the performance he needs to drop the big birds, waterfowl and upland. Choke our Tundra loads like lead and enjoy the quick, humane hunt. The pellets are round, not brittle, and deform on contact with the game to dump energy and bring them down-period. Since Tundra behaves like lead, it can be shot in the older guns that won’t take steel but are proofed for smokeless powder. As always, check with your gun manufacturer to be sure. One call or e-mail to them should confirm Tundra will work in your gun. So bring out the classic shotguns and bring down some birds.

Fiocchi Steel Waterfowl Line

It is not uncommon for hunters to contact our factory to sing the praises of our steel shot-good patterns, good kills, good range-just what we were looking for. Treated steel pellets, the correct wad, and powders that perform in the cold conditions often encountered in waterfowl hunting deliver the kills a waterfowl hunter wants.

We offer heavier and faster loads depending on what the hunter wants and is successful using. We want to be sure your hunting experience is what you need-successful and satisfying without breaking the bank. If you haven’t yet, try Fiocchi Steel and get ready to bring home the birds.

Fiocchi Golden Pheasant Line

If you hunt pheasants and other upland birds, you may already know the Fiocchi Golden Pheasant shotshell and how well it performs. If you don’t, give them a try and you’ll be happy at the end of the day when you have reached your limit of game. The performance of our Golden Pheasants relies on a few key components to make your hunt successful. Reliable primers ignite clean, consistent powders (selected for their overall performance in all conditions, especially challenging cold weather) that propel nickel-plated lead shot to the target. That nickel plating makes a

big difference when it comes to consistent patterns and deep penetration through thick feathers and stout birds often encountered in late season. Nickel plating on the pellets makes them harder and slicker so they move through the barrel and choke with less deformation, aiding efficient flight through the air. This makes patterns more consistent. It also makes for pellets that cut through feathers and penetrate deeper for cleaner, humane kills and fewer lost or wounded birds. Don’t waste your (or your dog’s time) and effort with cheaper, sub-par upland shotshells. Look for the gold standard in upland shotshells-Fiocchi Golden Pheasant in 12, 20, 16, and 28 gauges.

Fiocchi Golden Turkey Line

Fiocchi Golden Turkey shotshells contain the tools you need to bring home the big gobblers. Reliable primers, consistent powders, and heavy-duty wads for heavy loads of nickel-plated shot make the right shell for the job. Nickel plated shot is harder and slicker than other non-plated lead or copper-plated lead pellets. This makes for better patterns and the penetration you need to bring the big ones home to the fryer, smoker, or grill. Turkey hunters are careful about their guns, calls, technique, and camo. Make sure the shotshells you use have as much care in them as you put into the rest of your hunt. Make sure they are Fiocchi.

Fiocchi Exacta Nickel-Plated Buckshot

Fiocchi has been using nickel-plated buckshot pellets longer than other ammunition manufacturers because we know it works. Harder, rounder nickel-plated pellets deliver more consistent patterns and penetration for hunting and home defense. No added expense or mess of buffers needed here. Just simple, reliable 00 and 4 buck shotshells for your heavy-duty shotgun needs. Fiocchi offers these features and performance at a price that may lead you to believe they are five round boxes instead of ten. Now available in plastic ammo bulk packs and Fiocchi’s Canned Heat line of canned ammo for ease of carry and protection from day to day handling and the elements such as dust and moisture! Make sure to add them to your home defense kit or “go bag” today.

Fiocchi uses a wad that is attached to the slug to ensure the slug arrives on target. This design delivers increased accuracy with a full-bore slug for the energy dump you want. We offer three 12 gauge slugs- a one ounce full power load, a one ounce reduced recoil load, and a 7/8 ounce reduced recoil load. They will do the job for hunting, law enforcement, self defense, and shotgun competition such as Three Gun matches.
